(AXcess News) Reno - Rocker Tommy Lee says that he and ex-wife, Pamela Anderson, are back together again. The Motley Crue drummer says that Pamela Anderson and the kids are living with him and that the couple is happy.

Lee made the announcement during an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, in which the rock star claimed that kids are glad too.

The on-again, off-again love affair between Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson has kept the tabloids busy, but Lee says their love has shined through.

Lee, 45, and Anderson, 40, were first married in 1995 and their marriage got off to a rocky start that never seemed to go up in smoke with Anderson leaving Tommy Lee on several occasions before the couple divorced in 1998 after having two sons together which went with Pamela after she divorced Tommy.

Tommy Lee made fun of the fact that he and Pamela Anderson have broken up on numerous occasions when he told Rolling Stone, “We’ve only given it a try 800 times - 801, here we go.”

Pamela Anderson, best known for her role on the hit TV series, “Bay Watch”, had married another rock star after divorcing Lee - Kidd Rock. You’d of thought Anderson would have had her fill of rock-n-rollers, but her brief marriage to Kidd Rock may have proven to the buxom beauty what she really wanted all along - that is to be with Tommy Lee - the father of their two children.

Anderson was also married, albeit very briefly, to Rick Saloman, though Pam annulled the marriage contract soon afterward.

Pamela Anderson’s divorce to Kidd Rock became final in May, 2007 and she soon found herself seeing husband No. 1, Tommy Lee, not long after that.

In an OK Magazine interview last year following her divorce from Kidd Rock, Pamela Anderson said as far as Tommy Lee was concerned, “It will never be over. Tommy and I have always been in love, though it has traveled different levels. It’s a different kind of love. I know I will care for him forever, and the feeling is mutual. We’ll never be alone because we have each other.”
