Katie Price, aka Jordan, has come out on top as the nation’s favourite reality television star according to 40% of Brits in a poll of over 3,000 fans conducted by MSN Entertainment.

The research, was carried out to gauge public opinion in peak reality TV season, reveals that the huge success of Jordan’s show, Katie and Peter the Next Chapter and her appearance on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, has earned her a place in the nation’s reality TV hearts.

However, her supposed rival and wannabe TV star Jodie Marsh came bottom of the pile as she was voted the most hated reality television star in Britain with 35% of the votes.

Following her recent international success, Leona Lewis has been voted Brits’ favourite TV talent show singer of all time with 38% of the votes, beating Popstars: The Rivals winners Girls Aloud who received 31%. Pop idol runner up-come actor, Will Young, came in third place with 17% of the votes.

Despite winning the first series of the X factor, British jazz and soul singer Steve Brookstein was voted the biggest TV talent show flop, taking 41% of the votes, followed by Pop Idol 2 winner Michelle McManus (34%), even though her debut single ‘All This Time’ went straight to number one on the UK Singles Chart.

While she may have missed out on the title of best talent show star, Cheryl Cole’s compassion, style and beauty have obviously captured the nation’s attention as she won the battle of the X Factor judges; 53% of Brits believe her to be a better judge than former fiery X Factor mentor Sharon Osbourne.

Ant and Dec took the gong as the nation’s best reality/talent television show presenters with two thirds of the votes (60%), followed by Big Brother presenter Davina McCall (20%) and Xtra Factor and Dancing on Ice beauty Holly Willoughby (10%)

Despite not featuring any A-listers, the BAFTA award-winning ,The Apprentice, has taken the crown as our favourite reality television show of all time, scoring 35% of the votes, followed by I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out if Here (27%) and Big Brother (16%), with Wife Swap limping in with just 6%.

MSN Entertainment Editor Mike Lok says: “The biggest reality TV programmes can make anyone a star as well as boost the careers of established celebs. Our poll clearly reveals that Katie Price has used the genre to win her place as one of the nation’s favourite celebrities while Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis have been propelled from anonymity to superstardom almost overnight.”

Singing under the influence helped Keira Knightley ace her audition for the upcoming movie remake of My Fair Lady.

“I probably did slur my words,” Knightley told the U.K. edition of Glamour in its September issue about having a drink before her audition to play Eliza Doolittle. “I told [producer Cameron Mackintosh] that would be the only way I could sing in front of everyone.”

However, Knightley soon realized that calming her nerves also had its drawbacks. “The problem with doing it is that alcohol dehydrates you, which isn’t very helpful for singing. But they said it was alright.”

And so the actress, 23, will star in the much-discussed remake of the 1964 musical movie, playing the Cockney flower girl turned society princess, played onscreen by Audrey Hepburn.

“There’s nothing like a musical,” she says. “Whenever I am feeling remotely down I put on Gigi. But the best musical ever has to be Fiddler On The Roof. I gave the DVD to my brother for Christmas in an attempt to convert him.”

While My Fair Lady will mark Knightley’s musical debut, it isn’t her first time singing onscreen. She also sang in the recent biopic The Edge of Love.

Scary auditions aside, Knightley, who is dating actor Rupert Friend, told the magazine she has never been happier. “At this particular time, I probably am more comfortable with myself. Just now I’m having a lovely time.”

Scarlett Johansson thinks acting is “harder for women”.

The ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ actress - who stars alongside Penelope Cruz in Woody Allen’s new film - believes succeeding in the “vain” movie industry is more difficult if you are female.

She said: “Acting is definitely harder for women. Women kind of wilt as men sort of achieve as they get older, like wine or whatever. It’s like, ‘Oh, she’s past her prime and she can’t play a sex symbol.’ It’s just a preconceived notion about women in general and particularly in this industry. It’s a very vain, vain industry.”

Scarlett - who released her debut solo album ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’ earlier this year - also revealed her plans for the future.

She added to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I would love to do another album. It was fantastic to not only live with that music that I love every day but to work with such wonderful musicians. It’s like a whole little creative commune we had.

“Right now, I would like to focus on developing something to direct. I have wanted to direct since I was 12. I remember making ‘The Horse Whisperer’ and thinking, ‘I want that guy’s job!’”

The ‘Touch My Body’ singer, who has a reputation for being a diva, enjoyed a peaceful swim on her second honeymoon with husband Nick Cannon off the island of Capri.

As she emerged from the water, Mariah was quickly met by two assistants bearing towels, who then proceeded to ensure she was completely dry by rubbing her all over.|

A source said: “Mariah looked in absolute heaven as she was dried off. She just held out her arms to her side and let the assistants get rid of any water remaining on her body.”

Mariah, 38, has previously revealed she likes being called a diva because it means she is successful.
She said: “They throw that word around like it’s a Frisbee! I grew up hearing it, because my mother is an opera singer. The actual definition is ‘a talented female singer’. Definition two is ‘a difficult woman who is successful,’ I believe. So I take it as a compliment.”

Despite her reputation, Mariah insists she doesn’t make enough demands.
The 38-year-old star said: “You know what? I guess I am a diva in many ways! When it comes to certain things, yes, I can be difficult and a little bit rigid about what I want. Am I demanding? I don’t think I’m demanding enough.”

Tequila tells In Touch magazine she’s found real love with new girlfriend Courtenay Semel, and doesn’t want to jeopardise her new relationship by cavorting with wannabe lovers on TV.

In India’s strict social hierarchy, the Davits are “the untouchables,” those long-suffering victims of discrimination. In 2005, Scarlett Johansson joined the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief’s family. The confederation of 13 like-minded orgs work together to solve poverty and injustice.

Johansson’s first visit for Oxfam: a school in the Dali community.

“The Davits are looked down upon and not schooled,” the actress says. Donations to Oxfam can provide buckets of clean water or textbooks. Johansson decided to fund the local school for three years. Students range from kindergarten to ninth grade.

“The money supports the school completely,” she explains. “It buys materials. It pays teachers. It buys uniforms.”

When Katrina hit New Orleans, Johansson signed up for USA Harvest. The org’s motto: “It’s All About the Food!”

“They provide food for missions and shelters in any kind of emergency situation,” Johansson says. “When people’s homes have been washed away, they still have their kids to feed.”

Johansson’s fund-raising efforts have filled the org’s larder with more than 1.5 million pounds of food. “When you have the spotlight on you, it’s nice to be able to shine that spotlight on a cause that you believe in,” she says.
