Matthew McConaughey’s longtime model girlfriend, Camila Alves, has given birth to the couple’s first child, a 7-pound, 4-ounce boy.

Alves, 24, gave birth Monday night in California, McConaughey’s publicist, Alan Nierob, said in an e-mail Tuesday to The Associated Press.

According to OK! magazine, the couple named their son Levi Alves McConaughey. McConaughey told OK!, “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 p.m., and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light’.”

The 38-year-old actor announced that Alves was pregnant in a posting on his Web site in January.

“Camila and I were side by side the entire time,” McConaughey told OK! magazine. “We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — having a child and making a family.”

“Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”

Public Enemy rapper Flavour Flav has revealed that he had sex for the first time when he was just six years old.

The reality TV star makes the startling revelation in the latest issue of Complex magazine when he says, “I lost my virginity in the bushes on a box… A girl and me were having sex on a box in the bushes, in some big tall bushes.

“This was when I was real, real, real, real, young. I lost my virginity when I was six years old.”

Rapper Nate Dogg has been charged with threatening and stalking his estranged wife.

The Area Codes singer, real name Nathaniel Hale, was pulled over by California Highway Patrol officers after a car chase with his estranged wife in Los Angeles on 23 June.

His unnamed spouse had called emergency services after the star allegedly made death threats against her and followed her “dangerously”.

Police have charged the rapper with three felony counts of making criminal threats and stalking and one misdemeanour count of driving on a suspended license.

Nicole Kidman gave birth Monday to a baby girl named Sunday.

In a statement e-mailed to The Associated Press, Paul Freundlich, a publicist for Urban, said: “Nicole and Keith Urban are delighted to announce that Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7, 2008, in the United States. Sunday Rose Kidman Urban weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces. Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well.”

Urban posted a message on his Web Site that said: “Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

Rocker John Mayer is getting his own back on the press by spreading false rumours about himself.

The singer - who is dating Friends star Jennifer Aniston - is so sick of reading untrue reports that he has decided to make up his own.

Mayer filled gaps between songs at a gig in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday night (03Jul08) by telling the audience made-up facts about his life.

After telling fans he is scared of all things green, that he wrote the Kenny Loggins hit Danger Zone, and was building a time machine, Mayer announced, “When I was a child I would kill small animals and wear their teeth as necklaces. True. Print that. And I’ve always felt deep down that I was born a woman”.

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - Christie Brinkley testified at her divorce trial Thursday that the day she learned her husband was having an affair with a teenager was the day “my life as I knew it had vanished.”

The former Sports Illustrated model took the stand in state Supreme Court, a day after testimony by her architect-husband, Peter Cook, and his former mistress.

Brian Platt, a police officer and the stepfather of the 18-year-old, informed Brinkley of the affair at a 2006 graduation at Southampton High School where the model was a speaker.

He tapped her on the shoulder, she tearfully recalled, and said, “That husband of yours won’t knock it off. He’s having an affair with my teenage daughter.”

Brinkley said she looked at Cook, sitting in the front row, and when he shook his head in denial, she thought: “My God, it’s true. He did do that.”

“That was also the day that my world was completely shattered,” said Brinkley.

Later, Brinkley’s mood brightened slightly when her cross examiner tried to portray her testimony as acting.

“If you want to call me an actress, that’s fine. I’m no Meryl Streep, but I have been in a very successful movie,” she said with a sheepish smile while referring to “National Lampoon’s Vacation.”

“Thirty years later it’s still got legs,” she said.

During his testimony Wednesday, Cook said he had given his mistress, Diana Bianchi, a $300,000 payoff, had trysts in his office and Brinkley’s Hamptons homes, and spent thousands of dollars on online porn.

Brinkley said she told Cook to give her his computer passwords “if you’ve got nothing to hide.” She found e-mails there from Bianchi and the porn sites Cook visited.

“I know a lot of men look” at pornographic sites, she said. But, in Cook’s case, she said he was trying “to connect with people” in their neighborhood.

“It was not a voyeur site. It was a meeting site,” she said. “It was more than I could bear.”

Cook had testified that he and Brinkley used pornography “to get the mood going.”

Before learning of the affair, Brinkley said the biggest problem she perceived in their marriage was Cook’s relationship with Alexa Ray Joel, her daughter with Billy Joel.

Brinkley said Cook constantly picked on her 22-year-old daughter for the slightest things. “It was truly the area that pained me in our marriage,” she said.

It distressed her, too, that Cook didn’t want Alexa Joel to play the piano, especially since “I feel as though she’s made my life a musical.”

Jack Black will wear a helmet when he performs at the Reading and Leeds music festivals.

The actor, who is set to appear on stage before legendary rockers Metallica, admits his band Tenacious D are prepared for the crowd to pelt them with bottles.

When asked if he was aware the crowd at Reading Festival are notorious for throwing bottles at acts, Jack replied: “Are you kidding me? Thanks for warning me. Well, I hope the crowd switch to throwing plastic bottles this year. I think I will bring my helmet!”

The Reading and Leeds music festivals are held over the weekend of August 22nd to 24th.

Meanwhile, Jack, who voices the character of Po the panda in new DreamWorks animation ‘Kung Fu Panda’, also revealed he still hasn’t met Jackie Chan - even though the Kung Fu legend also lent his voice to the movie.

Jack said: “It was awesome that we had Jackie Chan in the movie. Unfortunately I never worked with him and I still haven’t met him.”

Russell Brand says he misses heroin.

The comedian had a much-publicised addiction problem in 2002 which resulted in him getting sacked from his presenting job at MTV, but says he still misses the feeling the drug gave him.

He said: “I miss heroin, being able to turn my head off and everything being far away and irrelevant. I miss that very much. But it’s too high a price to pay.”

Russell - who admits he was “not very nice” while under the influence of the drug - is now totally clean after wanting to make his mother happy.

He added: “I don’t drink or take drugs. It was five years on December 13. One day at a time. That’s my position, currently.

“I think I’m happier. My mum’s happier. I thought that would be justification enough.”

Russell - who has rapidly gained a reputation as a ladies’ man - also claims he is tired of talking about sex.

Gwen Stefani says she and husband Gavin Rossdale have got “more romantic” since having son Kingston.

The 38-year-old singer - who is currently expecting her second child with former Bush frontman Gavin - admits her relationship with Gavin improved after they became parents.

She said: “I feel Gavin and I are closer in many ways now that we have a child together. We’ve both become more romantic and caring for each other.”

Gwen also revealed she found it difficult to leave Kingston to return to work.

She added: “Sometimes I feel very stressed and think it’s insane to be having so much going on when all I want to is relax and play with Kingston, but I’m in love with my fashion label L.A.M.B now.

“The simple reason I started my label was to have something creative in my life other than music. I pinch myself every day, every second, when I think how far things have come for me.”
