They may not be of age to drink legally. Some aren’t even old enough to drive a car. But when it comes to banking millions, these folks are already pros.
Hollywood’s 10 top-earning tweens collectively pulled down $107 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008. Though many of the stars on Forbes’ list have already aged out of the 8-to-14-year-old demographic themselves, the bulk of their work still caters to that advertiser-beloved tween set.
According to Alloy Media and Marketing, it’s a rabid and often indulgent fan base: America’s 20 million kids aged 8 to 12 spend $51 billion of their own money annually and influence $150 billion more in spending by their doting parents.
Tied for the top spot: Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and Harry Potter lead Daniel Radcliffe. The young talents each banked a cool $25 million in the last year.
At just 15 years old, Cyrus is the face of a billion-dollar brand. Her TV series proves a ratings stalwart for the Disney channel, and everything from lunch boxes to backpacks bear her face.
What’s more, her sold-out Best of Both Worlds 70-date concert tour raked in $54 million, and the 3-D concert movie brought in nearly $70 million more. Next up: a Hannah Montana flick for the big screen.
Though Cyrus’ saccharine-sweet image was temporarily tested when she posed for a Vanity Fair shoot in what appeared to be only a bed sheet, her cult-like fan base remained loyal. Proof: in its first week, her recently released, solo debut album Breakout sold some 371,000 copies. Its chart-topping success makes Cyrus the youngest star ever to have three No. 1 albums in a two-year span.
Radcliffe similarly tapped into the tween zeitgeist, thanks to his role as boy wizard Harry Potter in Warner Brothers’ $4.5 billion film franchise. Last summer, the British-born star signed a contract worth an estimated $50 million to continue his leading role in the last two Potter installations. The final story, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has since been split into two movies, which could mean even more cash for the 19-year-old star.
When he isn’t mixing potions, Radcliffe is doing his best to broaden his range — and his audience. He recently played the title role in My Boy Jack, a television movie about Rudyard Kipling’s ill-fated son. Next, he’ll make his Broadway debut in a revival of Peter Shaffer’s play Equus. Radcliffe’s earlier rendition, a stage play in London’s West End, drew tremendous media attention when the young star appeared nude.
Tabloid staples Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen place third on the list, banking an estimated $15 million over the course of the year. Though the 22-year-old starlets are no longer in the tween demographic, their tween-focused retail empire, Dualstar (which they assumed control of when they turned 18) continues to find buyers.
Now the fashion-forward twins, still best known for their shared role as precocious tot Michelle Tanner on ABC’s Full House, are trying to attract an older audience with two adult-focused fashion lines, the Row and Elizabeth & James.

The Jonas Brothers winning six Teen Choice Awards show what a wrong turn the younger genration is taking. The talentless trio are insanely popular with the teens and this is just an example of cumulative advantage. I don’t see what these 3 kids have to offer to the musical world. DAMN YOU DISNEY!
P.S. Am I the only one who would think Miley Cyrus was a man if I were blind. God damn she must have inhaled some cigars or something.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress - who only recently confirmed she was in a same-sex relationship with DJ Samantha is planning to exchange vows with her lover at a private ceremony in Los Angeles later this year, and her mother Dina has already started planning a lavish party.
A source said: “They’ve been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as ‘just good friends’.
“But they’ve decided it isn’t a fling, it’s for life - so they want to make their romance public. Dina is still working on the date of the party but it’s looking like towards the end of the year.”
It is believed the nuptials could take place in November around the same time Lindsay releases her new album ‘Spirit In The Dark’.

Friends and relatives will attend the special day, with Dina determined to make the event the perfect way to “welcome Sam into the family”.
Meanwhile, Lindsay blasted a Los Angeles police chief who joked she had “gone gay” last week.
She said: “Police chiefs shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life. It’s inappropriate.”
Chief William Bratton made the remark as he explained why he did not support new rules to curb paparazzi in Los Angeles.
He said: “If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving, Paris is out of town not bothering anybody - thank God - and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue.”
I can’t believe it! What’s next with this broad?

My prayers with be with here.

It was a romantic day of shopping, dining and partying in New York City for inseparable duo Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.
The couple’s busy July 28 included a trip to Chanel in SoHo, a late lunch at Bar Pitti and a romantic dinner at Gemma Restaurant.
Holding hands and gazing into each other eyes, the couple dined in a cozy, candlelit corner table at Gemma late Monday evening. The two looked quite happy, sitting next to each other as they chatted and laughed in a dark corner of the popular restaurant alongside Ronson’s brother Mark and a male friend.
After Gemma, Lohan and Ronson continued the party at the Bowery Hotel’s patio bar. Wearing a sky blue T-shirt, white jeans and one of her trademark straw fedoras, Ronson doted on Lohan, often putting her arm around her and laughing with the actress while more friends joined the couple.
They left shortly after midnight, with Lohan toting a Chanel-quilted purse and Ronson following in close pursuit.

They broke up in February but former competitive biker Carey Hart still holds hope for a future with his estranged wife, Pink.
Hart, 33, tells PEOPLE he’s not sure if his marriage to Pink, 28, is retrievable, but “I would like to have wishful thinking and say, ‘Yes.’ Only time will tell.”
Their plan?
“Maintain a friendship, and who knows what will happen when we get older,” Hart said Friday at the Flo-TV X-Games party in West Hollywood. “For the next three years, we’re both extremely busy people so it’s tough.”
In the meantime, he’s working at his new club, Wasted Space, in Las Vegas. “I allow myself one cocktail” while working, Hart says. “Everything is going good, but it’s still a lot of work!”
But Hart admits there’s not much time left to do one thing he’s really looking forward to – being a dad.
“I am [on a time clock],” Hart says. “I don’t want to do it past 35. My body is so destroyed, and I want to be a fun, young dad, not crippled and beat up. So I’d like to [have kids] by 35. I want ‘em!”

Buzz Aldrin may have been the second man on the moon, but he’s also got his eyes set on Hollywood – especially Reese Witherspoon.
The former astronaut, 78, is in talks for a proposed film about the battles he faced after his Apollo flight – and his subsequent love story, he told reporters Thursday at the New York premiere of the animated 3-D feature Fly Me to the Moon. Aldrin did voice work for the film.
As for casting the role of his wife of 20 years, Lois, Aldrin envisions Oscar-winner Witherspoon, 32.
“Lois likes Reese Witherspoon,” he says, “because she played a similar part in Walk the Line.”
In that 2005 film, Witherspoon played June Carter, wife of the erratic country legend Johnny Cash – and the woman who rescued him from the throes of substance abuse.
“My experiences post-flight were ones of not being very productive for quite awhile – depression and alcoholism, things like that,” says Aldrin. “I was trying to recover from that and ran into [Lois] afterwards.”
Asked if Lois straightened him out, Aldrin responded with a laugh. “Nah,” he insists, “I was already straight.”

Pamela Anderson is building an eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The former ‘Baywatch’ actress - who is a campaigner for People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) - was so impressed with the city when she visited on a charity trip with the Make A Wish Foundation she has decided to set up a business there.
She said: “I’m building a hotel there. It is environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish Foundation and met some great people. The royal family were really friendly.”
In keeping with the eco ideology of the project, Pammie will only be using eco-friendly materials to build the hotel.
She added: “It’s going to be built with no fossil fuel at all in Abu Dhabi where they have all that oil.”
Pammie, 41, isn’t the only celebrity to branch into the hotel business.
Clint Eastwood owns the Mission Ranch in Carmel, California, which he rents out.
In 2005, Leonardo DiCaprio bought Belize island Blackadore Caye, and is planning to turn it into an entirely green resort.

David Duchovny says working with Gillian Anderson again was like enjoying the “jam of appreciation”.
The actor - who reprises his role as Fox Mulder alongside Gillian’s Dana Scully in new movie ‘The X-Files: I Want To Believe’ - admits he’d “had enough” of Gillian by the time the original ‘X-Files’ TV show finished in 2002, but was thrilled to return to the character after a six-year break.
He said: “Gillian and I are not as close as Mulder and Scully but who could be? Nobody is as close as Mulder and Scully. But we worked together for so long that by the time the series ended we had enough of each other.
“But six years having passed, it’s like, I don’t make jam, but I’m assuming you pour away the boiling liquid so after six years the liquid is all boiled off and all that remains is the jam of appreciation.”
David also compared British women to “frozen champagne”.
He added to British TV presenter Miquita Oliver: “You know what Byron said about English women? He said that they were like frozen champagne. When champagne freezes all the non alcoholic liquids freeze to the top and at the bottom is just that strong distilled alcohol. I think it is a compliment.”
The full interview between Duchovny and Oliver can be seen on Channel 4’s ‘T4′ this Sunday (03.08.08).
