Britney Spear’s Warsaw stop canceled

Britney Spears’ “Circus” won’t be coming to Warsaw.

The singer, whose hits include “…Baby One More Time” and “I’m a Slave 4 U,” has been playing a series of shows this summer in Europe, including in Britain, France and Sweden.

The July 24 show in Warsaw was canceled because of a contractual dispute that could not be resolved, a statement released by her publicist said Wednesday.

Phone calls to the concert organizer in Warsaw, Agencja Akwarium, went unanswered. An official Web site devoted to Spears’ Polish stop, said only that the show was canceled and that it would soon post information for ticket holders.

The Warsaw concert was to have been Spears’ second-to-last show in Europe before the “Circus” tour returns to the United States. She is scheduled to play at the 02 Arena in the German capital, Berlin, on July 26.

The 27-year-old “Womanizer” singer is scheduled to embark on an Australian tour in November after performing a series of shows in the U.S. and Canada.

Britney Spears is reportedly dating her agent Jason Trawick, People magazine reports. The 27-year-old pop princess recently took a vacation in the Bahamas with her sons, Sean Preston, 3 and Jayden, 2. “They are totally and definitely dating,” a source told People. “Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her.” The singer is said to have “always had a crush” on Trawick, who is one of her brother Bryan’s best friends. “They’re very sweet together,” the source said. “He makes Britney really happy and he’s great with the boys.”

Britney Spears a Gay Rights Activist

Circus’ singer Britney Spears has become a gay rights activist, speaking out in favour of same sex marriage.

Britney Spears supports gay marriage.
The ‘Circus’ singer – who passionately kissed Madonna on stage at the MTV Awards in 2003 – has vowed to fight for homosexual rights.
Writing on her Twitter page, Britney said: “Love is love! People should be able to do whatever makes them happy. I have lots of gay and lesbian friends and I want to see them get married.
“I’ll do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true. Discrimination has no place in America.”
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old pop star is currently struggling with the choreography in her current tour ‘The Circus Starring Britney Spears’.
The dance routines are reportedly so demanding they make her vomit.
A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “The choreography is insane – it’s so fast it is really taking its toll on her. But there is one move during ‘Touch Of My Hand’, where two guys dangle from the ceiling and pick her up upside down, which is really getting to her.
“She spins around for nearly five minutes some nights. The blood rushes to her head and when she gets down she complains of nausea and dizziness. There have been a couple of times when she ran off stage and vomited. She’s asked if it can be changed.”

Britney Spears Tops the Charts Again

Britney Spears reigns supreme on the radio again.

Britney’s latest single “Circus,” off her platinum album of the same name, is the No. 1 song on the Top 40 radio charts, says the star’s Web site. It’s also her fifth No. 1 song overall.

Britney’s site adds that this marks the first time that she’s has notched back-to-back No. 1 singles on the radio chart, according to the industry trade Radio & Records.

Three songs from Britney’s album Circus now hold spots in the Top 40 chart: “Womanizer,” “If You Seek Amy,” and the album’s title cut.

How did Britney get back in shape? A lot of hard work, the pop star says.

“I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be,” Spears tells Glamour in its January issue. “I used to be obsessed with working out … But I can’t get motivated right now because I’m so focused on my music.”

What about her workout regimen?

“It isn’t fun [for me], so to do it every day would be horrible,” Spears say of going to the gym. “Three days a week is cool, even two. It makes me feel good and feel like I’ve done something. It’s important to take care of your body.”

Still, Spears, who will turns 27 tomorrow, says that with her efforts comes a new appreciation for her body. “Recently I started to appreciate my body a bit more from before I had kids,” the singer says. “But it completely changed.”
