Steve Carell To be in Sequel
Steve Carell has reportedly been tapped for a forthcoming sequel to his spy-themed action film Get Smart.
The summer blockbuster’s huge commercial success,which I doubt highly for this sequel, landed Carell a multi-million dollar three-movie deal with studio Warner Bros. last month. That’s a lot of money, but I wish he would just stick to things that, you know, are funny.
The deal does not include any more secret agent sequels.
I’m actually not sure why they are going to do this, but I bet you it bombs out. Just my opinion.
