Penelope Cruz is not confirming what everyone else around her is.

Media outlets today are saying that the actress is engaged to be married to longtime boyfriend Javier Bardem.

According to US Weekly, a source close to the couple has said: “They tried to keep it very private and quiet.”

Many reporters were thrown off the trail this summer when Cruz told Psychology Today: “I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”

“When I [have children], I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life.”
