Nicole Kidman has reportedly cut her holiday in Sydney short due to alleged harassment by a member of the paparazzi.
The actress had been holidaying in Sydney over the Christmas period with husband Keith Urban, who took time out from rehab for alcoholism to spend time with his family.
She has reportedly now left Australia after filing a harassment complaint against celebrity photographer Jamie Fawcett, who Kidman claims had been a constant presence during their trip.
It is believed that Kidman’s staff made a complaint at Batemans Bay police station on Sunday claiming harassment and endangerment.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Jamie Fawcett said that the incident boiled over on New Year’s Eve when Kidman’s convoy, protected by an unmarked police car, stopped to confront the photographer.
“I was four or five metres from their car and entitled to be there. This situation was not my making. They pulled over,” he said.
Fawcett claims that Kidman yelled an obscenity at him and then was “pulled back” into the car by Keith Urban.
This is not the first time that Kidman and Fawcett have locked horns. Earlier this year, Kidman dropped an apprehended violence order against the photographer. This month, Fawcett’s lawyers will face court in Sydney over charges that he bugged Kidman’s home.
