ET special correspondent Nancy Kerrigan checks in with Mark Steines from Vancouver and reveals she has been partying with the news gals from “Today.”
“It’s girls’ night out,” “Today” host Meredith Vieira tells Nancy. “Natalie [Morales] and I … it’s something we never get to do and Kristi [Yamaguchi] offered to show us the town.”
It was a chance to see the Barenaked Ladies, one of Canada’s most popular rock bands, that got the ladies going. Plus it didn’t hurt that they had backstage passes and got to meet the band’s lead singer Ed Robertson.
Olympic gold medalist Kristi is in Vancouver working as a special correspondent for “Today,” but fans also are recognizing her from her “Dancing with the Stars” win!
“Actually there are two ‘Dancing with the Stars’ competitors already here — Apolo [Anton Ohno, who also won] and Louis Vito,” she says. “I think a male skater would be nice [for the dance competition.] I think it’s about time they have a hockey player.”
For more Olympic festivities, tune in to tonight’s ET.
