Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese will direct a biopic about the life of Frank Sinatra – according to the singer’s youngest daughter Tina.

Scorsese, who recently made a new ‘rockumentary’ on The Rolling Stones, is planning to document the My Way hitmaker’s life – and finally end speculation the late star was part of the American gangster scene.

Sinatra’s daughter – who produced a 1992 mini-series about her dad entitled Sinatra – insists the filmmaker had always wanted to present the truth about her father, who died on 14 May, 1998.

She says, “Marty has always wanted to do this. I trust him (Scorsese) implicitly”.
