She always seems to land in hot water, and the story claiming that Lindsay Lohan stole a necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store continues.
The owner of Kamofie & Company is making a claim that the “Mean Girls” star walked out of the store with the $2,500 necklace on January 22, yet the incident wasn’t reported to the police until the 23rd.
The store owner has said she tried to contact Lindsay’s camp on the 22nd, but failed to reach anyone.
In order to charge Lohan, who claims the store loaned her the necklace, the D.A. must prove she had a specific intention to permanently take the item as she walked out the door – which may be a difficult task.
