Lindsay Lohan joins Alcoholics Anonymous
December 1st, 2006Lindsay Lohan has gone to Alcoholics Anonymous to seek help for her heavy drinking.
The actress, famed for her love of partying, was apparently spotted going into an AA meeting in Los Angeles at 7.30 a.m. on Wednesday (Nov 29, 2006).A friend of Lindsay’s claims she has been going to meetings in secret for a short while and is hoping the sessions will help her curb her wild behavior. The pal told the New York Post newspaper: “She has attended several meetings and has hopefully decided to turn her life around - this time for good. She is out of control.”Lindsay, 20, has been out partying almost continuously since last week - she was pictured with on/off rival Paris Hilton and the heiress’ new best friend Britney Spears on Monday (Nov 27, 2006).Her concerned mother Dina has now flown to Los Angeles to help her daughter cut down on her nights out.
Lindsay is currently shooting new movie “The Best Time of Our Lives” with British actress Keira K.Filming is expected to last for around five weeks and those close to the ”Bobby” star hope she will “get serious” about her heavy drinking after completing her scenes.

Everyone who has posted a negative comment on here re Lindsay Lohan’s drinking should be ashamed of themselves. She is a young girl coping with an adult problem. Most alcoholics don’t even realize they have a problem and need professional help until they are much older. I’m not saying that she doesn’t have her problems, but no need to call her obscene names. Be careful who you throw stones at, they may get thrown back.
Delight - someday you may need help and/or understanding in life - I hope you don’t face the same lack of sympathy and personal insults that you’ve been so quick to hurl. Good luck!

Yeah so what she needs help. A lot of people do. Just because she is in the spotlight doesn’t give us permission to call her names. Everyone has bullshit to deal with. Everyone is human.
