Boring ass Sarah Michelle Gellar has vowed to always be a good girl - because she wants to be a positive role model.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star knows young people look up to her and insists she would never jeopardise her position, unlike many of her Hollywood peers.

She said: “I take being a role model very seriously. If I’m able to help or lend my support to something because I’m in a position where people look up to me, then it’s my responsibility to appreciate and honour that. It’s certainly not something I take lightly.”

The 30-year-old actress - who is married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr. - says it frustrates her when the media choose to publicise young stars, like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, who have gone off the rails.

She said: “It makes me sad. There are actually so many people who are doing wonderful things and being good role models but because it doesn’t make an interesting story people aren’t aware of it.”

YEP She’s right, no wonder Ive never blogged about her before, she’s boring.
