Britney Spears’ visitation rights to her children remain suspended, ruled Commissioner Scott Gordon at LA’s Superior Court today. The next hearing is scheduled for February 19; the trial is set for April 9.

“The word victory is not something that Mr. Federline or his counsel would ascribe to the results of the court,” Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told reporters outside the courthouse. “There is no joyous feeling. This is a grave situation for everybody. And while we believe Mr. Federline is pleased that the court did make an order that we feel is appropriate, there is no joy in it for him.”

An insider tells In Touch that “while Kaplan showed sincere feelings for Britney, you could tell he was happy he won in court.” Testifying today were Kevin, two LAPD officers, Britney’s court-appointed monitor, her parenting coach and Kevin’s bodyguard.

If you blinked, you probably missed Britney’s visit to the courthouse. The word is that she arrived, saw the media and drove away. Britney then went to the Little Brown Church in Studio City (where she sat in the front row and prayed) and stopped by the Gaucho Grill. She then went home.

At court an insider told In Touch that “Brit’s lawyers look fatigued and stressed. They simply cannot control her.”

Britney had finally arrived at the LA Superior Court hearing to determine her custodial rights of her and Kevin Federline’s sons, Sean Preston 2, and Jayden, 16 months. Britney, who was a no-show this morning, was with Adnan, who told In Touch that he was trying his best to get Britney to the courthouse.

An eyewitness tells In Touch that when the court broke for lunch, “Kevin looked so full of himself as he left the courthouse. He had a huge smile on his face and laughed as he went in a private exit with his lawyer and bodyguards.” Word is an LAPD officer, one of the first respondents to Britney’s house earlier this month when she had her meltdown, testified for three hours this morning.

On January 3, Britney engaged in a four-hour standoff with police officers after refusing to return Jayden to their father’s custody. After removing him from her home, officials admitted the singer into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for psychological evaluation. On January 4, Kevin was granted sole legal and physical custody of the children, and Britney lost visitation rights.
