It's Crosstown Classic time again in Chicago and I was just looking up this Obama quote. Anyway, Geo says that St. Louis, Cinci, Brewtown, and Houston all hate the cubs. I don't know about Houston and Cinci, and Geo is DEFINITELY right about Milwaukee, but St. Louis? Really? The "rivalry" between the Cards and cubs is entirely one sided. St. Louis fans don't think about the cubs. They're a joke to the Cardinals. St. Louis has won 10 World Series since the last time the Cubs won one. They are the second most successful team in baseball history. The cubs are arguably the least successful. If there's a true rivalry in the NL Central, it's Brewers/cubs. If fact, he was just speaking the truth about some Cub fans. I'm guessing a majority of the season tickets are held by corporations, who just use the games to woo clients.
