They’re no longer together, but Heather Locklear can still count on her ex-husband Richie Sambora.
As Locklear, 46, seeks treatment for depression and anxiety at an Arizona facility, the Melrose Place star has Sambora firmly in her corner, says a friend of the couple, who have a 10-year-old daughter, Ava.
“Without a doubt, he’s there for his daughter and her mother,” a friend of the Bon Jovi guitarist tells PEOPLE. “They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much.”
Sambora, who split from Locklear in 2006 after 12 years of marriage and subsequently dated Locklear’s former friend Denise Richards, is currently performing with Bon Jovi in England until June 28. The band is due to finish their tour in the U.S. with a few East Coast dates in July.
Although he’s on the road, “I’m sure he’s available if Heather should need something and certainly for Ava,” says the pal.

He’s a screen legend – heck, he’s even been knighted! But Sir Ben Kingsley isn’t above a little kiss-and-tell when it comes to his on-screen smooch with 22-year-old Mary-Kate Olsen in The Wackness.
“She was completely in charge,” the actor, 64, tells PEOPLE of their enthusiastic make-out scene in a telephone booth.
The former star of Gandhi and Schindler’s List – who’s currently shooting with Martin Scorcese in Boston – drove down to New York for the movie’s Cinema Society and Sony Cierge-sponsored party at the Gramercy Roof Club.
“I love watching the movie,” his wife, Daniela, said of the coming-of-age stoner film. As for her real-life leading man, she added, “I love him. He’s amazing.”
Writer/director Jonathan Levine said that although he was never a drug dealer, the film is loosely based on his own experiences growing up in New York. And even with this all-star cast, Levine still passed along a few valuable lessons.
Most notably? “I did have to teach Sir Ben how to take a bong hit.”

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban kicked off their second wedding anniversary on June 25 in their typical laidback style.
The day began with an early a.m. trip to one of their favorite spots: a Starbucks in Franklin, Tenn. After pulling up in their black Bentley, the couple – dressed in workout gear and baseball caps – strolled inside hand-in-hand and lingered over drinks and a scone.
The twosome then had lunch that afternoon at a local Whole Foods with Urban’s songwriter pal Monty Powell and his wife.
By then, Kidman was wearing a flower-print, yellow cotton minidress, and Urban had changed into a blue button-down shirt and jeans.
These days, the expectant parents – whose baby is due “soon,” according to Urban – have been doing more than hitting their usual haunts together: They’ve been taking Lamaze lessons. During a June 24 interview with Nashville’s WSIX-FM, Urban initially denied he was in the birthing class, but a surprise phone call revealed otherwise.
“Hi, this is Keith’s wife!” Kidman said. “Actually, Keith has been doing Lamaze lessons, he is selling himself short! He doesn’t know the name [of the classes] but he has been very good at it!”
Urban (who previously admitted he was learning a new vocabulary for fatherhood) thanked his wife for coming to his defense. “I knew there was breathing involved!” he said.
When Kidman added that she was on her way to the station but was stuck in traffic, radio host Gerry House asked her to stop at a nearby shop and pick him up a salad for lunch. Twenty minutes later, she arrived with a bag in hand.
“Here you go, Gerry – one Woodmont Salad,” she said.
House thanked her profusely, but confessed, “I have no intention of eating this. Are you kidding? Lunch delivered by Nicole Kidman? I’m having it bronzed!”

Miley Cyrus Braces For Ex’s Call After Angry Video Debuts….
Miley Cyrus is expecting her phone to ring on Saturday night (28Jun08) after an unnamed ex-boyfriend catches the debut of her angry new video.
In 7 Things, the Hannah Montana star takes aim at the guy who broke her heart, and she enlisted the help of moviemaker Brett Ratner to help her get her message across in the video.
Cyrus claims writing the song was “a good little therapy moment” for her, admitting “the word hate could describe how angry I was”.
Speaking on Los Angeles Dj Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Wednesday morning (24Jun08), Cyrus said, “That’s Miley going through, like, 900 emotions while I’m trying to write a song”.
And she hopes the target of the tune - widely believed to be Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas - is upset enough to call after the promo debuts in America on Saturday night.
She adds, “I wanted them (sic) to be upset. That was my point.
“Maybe after my video we’ll hear from somebody, because it’s pretty honest”.

I know what I won’t be watching that night.

George Carlin – who once wryly wondered, “Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?” – is being mourned by fellow comedians such as Ben Stiller and Jay Leno, not only for being a groundbreaker in entertainment but an individual of great honor.
“George Carlin was a hugely influential force in stand-up comedy,” Stiller, 42, said in a statement. “He had an amazing mind, and his humor was brave, and always challenging us to look at ourselves and question our belief systems, while being incredibly entertaining. He was one of the greats and he will be missed.”
Carlin, 71, died Sunday of heart failure.
Staff members of Saturday Night Live and David Letterman’s Late Show are said to devastated by the loss, a former associate of both programs tells PEOPLE.
Comic actor-writer Marshall Efron – a friend who recalled Carlin as “a nice guy” – tells PEOPLE that he once “received a check out of the blue from George, simply because he’d used [in his act] a funny line he’d heard me say.”
“If there was ever a comedian who was a voice of their generation it was George Carlin,” said Leno, who frequently had Carlin on the Tonight Show (a venue on which Carlin started appearing in the 1960s).
“Before George, comedians aspired to put on nice suits and perform in Las Vegas. George rebelled against that life. His comedy took on privilege and elitism, even railing against the game of golf.”
Despite the passage of years, said Leno, 58, “He never lost that fire. May he continue to inspire young people never to accept the status quo.”
“Nobody was funnier than George Carlin,” Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin director Judd Apatow, 40, told the Associated Press. “I spent half my childhood in my room listening to his records experiencing pure joy. And he was as kind as he was funny.”

What a bummer this was. Honestly one of the only comedians that would make me hold my sides laughing everytime! I think of his observation of everyone telling to have a nice day and him responding with, “will you just give me my f$@*%@g change please?”, whenever im told that. What a great comedian he was!

LOS ANGELES - Woody Harrelson has been sued for $2.5 million by a paparazzo who accused the actor of assaulting him and breaking his video camera two years ago.
According to a lawsuit filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Josh Levine was filming Harrelson in Hollywood late one night in June 2006. He alleges the Academy Award-nominated actor choked him, broke his video camera and ordered his bodyguard to attack him.
Levine’s suit says he still has mental, physical and emotional pain from the encounter. He is also suing the unidentified bodyguard.

LONDON - Soul diva Amy Winehouse has damaged her lungs by smoking crack cocaine and cigarettes, her father said in an interview published Sunday.
The Sunday Mirror quoted Mitch Winehouse as saying that Amy has early stage emphysema and an irregular heartbeat, and has been warned that she will have to wear an oxygen mask unless she stops smoking drugs.
“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her,” Mitch Winehouse was quoted as saying. “There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She has 70 percent lung capacity.”
Winehouse, 24, collapsed at her north London home Monday after signing autographs for a group of fans and was taken to a London hospital for tests. She remained there all week.
She is still scheduled to sing at a concert in London on Friday celebrating the 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela, the South African Nobel Prize-winner, and plans to take part in the Glastonbury music festival the following day.
Mitch Winehouse said it would be good for his daughter to perform.
“When she’s been inactive work-wise then that’s when the problems really start. The doctors have said that medically there isn’t any reason why she can’t do Glastonbury,” the paper quoted him as saying.
“If she hadn’t done recent shows in Moscow and Portugal she could have been dead by now,” he said. “She abstains and regulates her drug use when she has to do a show.”
He also pleaded with her drug-taking friends to stay away from her.
“What hope does she have if people are taking drugs around her,” he said.
Chris Goodman, spokesman for Amy Winehouse, said “If that’s what Mitch says, that’s what he says. It sounds right.”
Mitch Winehouse could not immediately be reached for comment.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop near the Vanderbilt University campus.
Vanderbilt spokesman Jim Patterson said Kearse was stopped early Sunday morning after campus police reported seeing the SUV that Kearse was driving weaving across the road.
Patterson says Kearse took a field sobriety test, but refused a breathalyzer. He was arrested and charged with DUI and violation of Tennessee’s implied consent law for failing to take the breathalyzer test. Officials said Kearse was released later in the morning.
A call to the Titans was not immediately returned. A spokesman for Kearse’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Kearse had no comment.
Kearse, the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1999 with the Titans, re-signed with the club in the offseason after spending the last four years with the Philadelphia Eagles.

I don’t understand with all that money and everything at risk, the guy can’t ride in a damn limo!

Sienna Miller has revealed she burnt her breasts while making her new movie ‘G.I. Joe’.
Sienna Miller burnt her boobs while making her new movie.
The 26-year-old actress revealed the accident happened when she was filming a stunt for action blockbuster ‘G.I. Joe’.
She revealed: “I had every intention of working out but it just didn’t happen - I’ve never been to the gym.
“I got burnt boobs, I ran the wrong way under an explosion. It was my own fault, I’m clumsy, there’s a little scar.”
Sienna - who stripped off in ‘Factory Girl’ and the forthcoming ‘Hippie Hippie Shake’ - also admitted she finds nude scenes uncomfortable because of “perverts” on set.
She added: “The damage is done, everything’s been seen! It’s a little bit awkward at the time. There’s the odd perve in the corner.”
The ‘Edge of Love’ star also boasted to UK talk show host Jonathan Ross about her drinking ability, but denied she is a party girl.
She said: “Not as much as is made out. I can handle it. I can drink most grown men under the table.”
Sienna’s new movie, ‘The Edge of Love’, is out in cinemas now.

Ian Ziering of Dancing With the Stars is opening up about his struggles with dyslexia.
“My career actually started in the second grade as class clown,” says Ziering, 44. “That’s no joke. I was always making people laugh, and it was really to mask a learning disability. … When it came time for me to read out loud, I would crack jokes or create a diversion.”
It was then that he was diagnosed with dyslexia, and for four years he worked to learn to read.
“I would work through flash cards … to help condition me out of seeing letters and numbers backwards and upside-down,” he says. “I finally trained my eyes to look at the top left corner of the page rather then the bottom right side of the page.”
Now, Ziering, who spoke last week at the launch of Intel’s connectingforcare.com in New York, hopes to use his fame as a means for giving back.
“I view having celebrity as having capital, and I don’t know a better way to spend that capital other then helping people,” says Ziering, who also starred in Beverly Hills 90210.
Because his father, who “worked three jobs to make sure that his family never went hungry,” now suffers from renal disease, Ziering is a caregiver and the national spokesperson for the site.

‘The Edge of Love’, a period drama starring Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller, Cillian Murphy and Matthew Rhys, is very much a family affair.
Telling the story of legendary Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, played by Matthew, and his relationships with his wife Caitlin MacNamara and former sweetheart Vera Phillips, played by Sienna and Keira respectively, ‘The Edge of Love’ was written by Keira’s mother Sharman Macdonald, and has the blessing of most of Thomas’ family.
In fact, the film’s producer, Rebekah Gilbertson, has more than just a tenuous link with the Thomas’ clan as she is the granddaughter of Vera Phillips, who became Vera Killick when she married soldier William Killick.
“From a girl of about eight or nine-years-old I’d known about my grandmother’s relationship with Dylan Thomas - they had grown up together,” Rebekah said. “I thought that this was fantastic material for a film so that’s how it started. Sharman Macdonald actually created the details about the relationship between Caitlin and Vera, formed a partnership and it continued from there.
“When I saw the film, I felt it really captured with the spirit of those four friends. Whether what happened was true or not it was the spirit of their friendship and I’m very proud of that.”
The movie also had the support of Thomas’ daughter Aeronwy, who also had a small cameo in the film, which was subsequently cut.
However, Matthew - who had the unenviable task of portraying Thomas’ drinking and womanising on the big screen - said Aeronwy’s help in relating to Thomas was vitally appreciated.
