The ‘4 Minutes’ singer was shunned by her classmates because she chose to concentrate on her music rather than experiment with drugs like her peers.

She said: “In high school I wasn’t a hippie or a stoner, so I ended up being the weirdo. I was interested in classical ballet and music, so the kids were quite mean if you were different.

“I was one of those people that people were mean to. When that happened, instead of being a doormat, I decided to emphasise my differences. But if your joy is derived from what society thinks of you, you’re always going to be disappointed.”

Madonna - who has three children with husband Guy Ritchie - also revealed she initially found it difficult to work with Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams on her upcoming album ‘Hard Candy’.

She added to Vanity Fair magazine: “It did take time to get comfortable. It’s not like we hit it off right away. Writing is very intimate. You have to be vulnerable and it’s hard to do that with strangers.”

Michelle Williams’ father has cast doubt on the handling of Heath Ledger’s estate by the late star’s dad Kim, and has called for the family to publicly state the true value of the actor’s personal fortune.

The ‘Brokeback Mountain’ actor left all of his assets to parents Kim and Sally and older sister Kate, having filed his will in Australia in April 2003 - two years prior to birth of his daughter, Matilda, with then-girlfriend, actress Williams.

Kim has since assured that both Williams and two-year-old Matilda will be financially “taken care of”, but Larry Williams wants to know exactly how much Heath was worth at the time of his death.

Halle Berry’s newborn daughter has been named Nahla Ariela Aubry, her publicist has announced.

Nahla was born on Sunday to Berry, 41, and her model partner Gabriel Aubry, 32. It is Berry’s first child.

The couple met while shooting a Versace commercial in Los Angeles two years ago. Berry has said she and Aubry do not plan to marry, but feel fully committed to each other.

Berry, star of ‘Catwoman’, ‘Die Another Day’ and the ‘X-Men’ movies, won an Emmy for the 1999 made-for-TV film ‘Introducing Dorothy Dandridge’ and a best-actress Academy Award for 2001’s ‘Monster’s Ball’.

The 27-year-old socialite has made headlines with her curvy figure and ample posterior, but insists she doesn’t know what all the fuss is about.

She said: “I have not insured it yet, but I think I should look into that.

“I have no idea where this all attention came from. I have always dressed the same - it’s nothing new. I think people just started picking up on it - I don’t even know how it happened. And there are all these rumors about
whether it’s fake or if it’s real.”

A bidder on auction website eBay has paid $40,100 (€25,500) for a date with Scarlett Johansson.

The actress auctioned off a chance to be her guest at the premiere of her new film, ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, in aid of Oxfam.

Bidding for the date began at less than $1, but climbed to over $40,000 in just 10 days.

The winner, who is from the UK, will be brought to the event in a chauffeur-driven limousine to join the star on the red carpet. He or she can also bring a guest with them. After the screening, Johansson will hand her date a personal handwritten note.

However, it is unlikely any further romance will develop as the 23-year-old star is currently dating actor Ryan Reynolds.Source

Usmagazine.com has confirmed that Britney Spears will guest star on the March 24 episode of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

The pop star, 26 will play Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office who falls for architect Ted (Josh Radnor) when he comes in to have a tattoo removed. (It is Spears’ first return to the small screen since a 2006 cameo on Will & Grace.)
