Nicole Richie, 26 and her boyfriend Joel Madden, 28 welcomed a baby girl on Friday.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.

The couple’s rep said: “The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents.”

Currently the new parents have yet to set a wedding date but have decided to put their baby first.

TMZ has learned the divorce between Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon is back on and Pam is pregnant!

You’ll recall Anderson filed for divorce last month, but called it off just days later. But sources tell TMZ she is now moving forward with the divorce, even though we know she’s pregnant with his baby.

Salomon has told friends he believes she is “acting crazy” because of the pregnancy and hopes she will settle back into the marriage. Interestingly, in her divorce petition, Anderson asked for spousal support but not child support.

The couple were married in Las Vegas on October 6.

A new biography of Tom Cruise claims he was encouraged to end his marriage to Nicole Kidman by Scientology bosses.

Andrew Morton’s controversial new book alleges the church soured towards Kidman after she gave an interview in 1998 describing herself as “a catholic girl”, and steered Cruise into ending their union.

Morton alleges that in 1999 Cruise took a course that would identify “those in his life who create problems and difficulties”. Kidman was identified as such.

The author writes, “Shortly after Kidman’s Newsweek interview, senior Scientology leaders discussed their strategy to keep Tom in the fold. The fear was that a lukewarm Nicole could fatally compromise Tom’s commitment to his faith.”

Morton also claims when the marriage ended in January 2001, Kidman was informed through a lawyer’s letter. Morton writes: “She was told she would never make another movie.”

He claims Kidman discovered she was pregnant shortly after the split. When she suffered a miscarriage, Cruise sent flowers but never visited, the book alleges.

The actor’s lawyer Bert Fields has dismissed the biography as “a bunch of lies”.

The Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban camp has finally confirmed something In Touch had previously learned from insiders: Nicole is pregnant. “The couple are thrilled,” Keith’s rep said in a statement to In Touch. According to the New York Post, the actress has apparently dropped out of the film, The Reader, over concerns about the health of her baby. (Nicole has admitted to suffering from miscarriages in the past.) The Post also says a photo shoot that Nicole was set to do for Vanity Fair is being moved up “because the costumes she’s set to wear won’t fit her much longer,” an insider tells the paper.

Britney Spears has “suffered from a psychological disease for years,” says a source close to the singer.

Two separate sources who are acquaintances of the family believe the singer has never been formally diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but “there is no question she is bipolar … she’s had manic episodes for years.”

According to Dr. Diana Kirschner, who has not treated Spears but is an expert on the subject, “people who show patterns of behavior like Britney are suffering from a dual diagnosis. They have both a substance abuse problem and a bipolar disorder or manic disorder.” (In September, Spears was characterized by the court in her custody case to be a “habitual, frequent, and continuous” user of drugs, and was ordered to undergo random drug tests, but it’s unclear if any tests returned positive.)

Michael Cartwright, the founder of a high-end treatment center in Malibu, has said that based on media coverage of Spears’s behavior, she appears to have a drug and alcohol addiction and bipolar disorder. “She seems deeply ill to me,” he said last year, when Spears spent time in a  rehab facility, the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu.

Several friends of Spears have been told that the singer has taken anti-anxiety medication, “and who knows what she’s on now. This is really a matter of her being unstable, not suicidal … she’s not balanced.”

PEOPLE has learned from multiple sources that the singer also suffered from depression after both her pregnancies. “She had postpartum depression after Preston was born,” says a source who was close to the family during her marriage to Kevin Federline. “She didn’t want anyone’s help … It got worse after Jayden was born.”

The ‘Transformers’ star can’t get enough fun in the bedroom, and insists women should be more open about what they like between the sheets.

She said: “I really enjoy having sex, and that’s offensive to some people. Women are the quickest to call other women sluts, which I think is sad. I haven’t met a lot of men who have said, ‘You like having sex? What a dirty whore you are.’ “

Megan, 21, has also confessed it doesn’t take much to get her in the mood for sex, because her raging hormones leave her in a permanent state of arousal.

She added: “I’m young and have a lot of hormones - I’m always in the mood! But I like sex with one person when I’m in a relationship. Sex with random people who I’ve met at clubs is not really my thing.”

The troubled singer - who was taken to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center strapped to a stretcher on Thursday night (03.01.08) - left the medical facility on Saturday (05.01.08) shortly after being visited by daytime US talk show host ‘Dr. Phil’ McGraw.

McGraw said: “She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. I visited her for around an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her.”

The TV star - who attempts to help people with psychologically problems on his hugely popular programme - also revealed he was convinced Britney, 26, was in “dire need of both medical and psychological intervention”.

The ‘Toxic’ singer was taken to hospital following a three-hour stand-off with police which began at 8pm on Thursday after she refused to return her sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James, to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

When officers arrived at the residence they found Britney to be “under the influence of an unknown substance”.

The hospital has so far refused to reveal why the pop star was admitted, citing patient confidentiality.

Following the incident, Kevin has been awarded sole custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Court commissioner Scott Gordon made the ruling on Friday (04.01.08), suspending all of Britney’s visitation rights.

Kevin previously had temporary custody of the children. Another hearing has been set for 14 January.

Pamela Anderson’s on/off marriage to new husband Rick Salomon appears to be off again - the actress has served her spouse with divorce papers.

The former ‘Baywatch’ star first filed legal papers for the dissolution of her then-two-month-old marriage on December 14, citing irreconcilable differences.

Two days later, Anderson, who wed her longtime friend Salomon in Las Vegas on October 6, claimed the couple was “working things out”.

However, according to CelebTV.com, Anderson’s lawyer filed a proof of summons document last Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The documentation shows Salomon was served with divorce papers on December 15. He has 30 days to file a response to the 40-year-old’s divorce claim.

Anderson has previously been married to rockers Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, while Salomon’s ex-wives are Elizabeth Daily and Shannen Doherty.

Anderson’s marriage to Kid Rock was similarly short-lived - they divorced after less than six months as husband and wife.
