Brad Pitt came to his girlfriend Angelina Jolie’s rescue at the European premiere of her new film Beowulf on Sunday, by helping her cover-up when her leather trousers split at the back.
Pitt and Jolie were on the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square when the actress’ skin-tight black leather trousers started to unstitch around her bottom.
Quick-thinking gentleman Pitt shielded Jolie’s embarrassment from photographers by covering the exposed area with his hand.
Jolie didn’t have the best entrance to the event - she also stepped in a piece of chewing gum which stuck itself to the heel of her $1,200 (€1,700) Christian Louboutin stilettos.

Without A Trace star Anthony LaPaglia, a former Aussie professional, was the stand-out star of the celebrity team, which also featured Beckham’s manager Alexi Lalas and Def Leppard star Viv Campbell.
LaPaglia played in goal for the celebrities and insists he’ll never forget stopping one of Beckham’s shots.
After the game, he said, “That one goes on the (computer) screen saver. I never thought I would get the opportunity to face him in an actual game”.

Britney - ‘You get a call, answer the call, set up a meeting, get the test’
Britney Spears has been told by the Judge in her custody case that she must provide a working telephone number so she can be reached for drug testing.
Ex-husband Kevin Federline’s lawyer told the court there had been 14 requests for drug testing and she failed to respond to eight of them.
Ms Spears’ lawyer argued the singer had not responded within the ordered timeframe because she was sleeping.
Mr Federline was granted full custody of sons Sean Preston, aged two, and one-year-old Jayden James in October.
“There needs to be one number that the testing facility calls that she responds to,” Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon said.
He added that she could change phone number, as long as everyone involved was notified.
Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly are the proud parents of twins.
The couple, who used a surrogate mother, welcomed a baby boy and girl into the world on Thursday morning (08.11.07) in Santa Monica, California.
Thomas Boone was born first at 8.26am weighing a healthy 6lb 12oz, while his sister Zoe Grace arrived just two minutes later weighing 5lb 9oz.
The excited parents released a statement, saying: “God has definitely blessed us.”
Dennis, 53, and Kimberly, 35, have refused to reveal the identity of the surrogate mother.
The couple - who were married on July 4, 2004 - have confirmed they are the twins’ biological parents.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden recently made an offer on a home in a gated Southern California community only to be denied by their potential neighbors, a source tells Us Weekly.
When the mom-to-be heard that she and fiance Madden were denied by residents who were conerned about photographers hovering near their homes, “Nicole was livid because she loved the house,” the source says. “She thinks it’s a BS reason, but she couldn’t fight it.”
Still, being dismissed hasn’t put a damper on the couple’s growing excitement over their coming event. Another source tells Us that Richie, 26, is planning a baby shower for the end of November. And Madden, 28, expects fatherhood to have a positive impact on many parts of his life, including his songwriting. “I’m sure it will inspire me,” he told Us on October 27. “Yeah, I’m sure it will.”

Kevin Federline has called an emergency hearing in his custody battle with Britney Spears, amid allegations his ex-wife has failed to comply with court-ordered drug tests.
Lawyers for both parties are due to meet in a Los Angeles court on Thursday, after Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, called the hearing. Spears and Federline are not expected to appear in court.
Under the latest court ruling, Spears is allowed to see her boys - Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one - three times a week, but must follow an earlier court order to undergo mandatory drug and alcohol tests and well as attend joint parenting sessions with dancer Federline.
If Spears is proved to have violated the drug-testing procedures, she faces having her visitation rights suspended until she follows the court order.
But the singer is not letting the latest allegations affect her daily errands - she was spotted taking a break from her custody battle by going car shopping at California car dealership, Van Nuys Mercedes, on Wednesday.
The son of professional wrestler and film star Hulk Hogan has turned himself in on charges stemming from a street-racing crash that critically injured a passenger in his car, Florida police said.
Nick Bollea, 17, was arrested on charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, Clearwater police spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts said.
He arrived at the Pinellas County Jail handcuffed and accompanied by two police officers, The Tampa Tribune reported.
“Because Nick is still a juvenile and has no prior criminal record, we are disappointed that he is being charged as an adult offender. However, we are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident,” family spokesman Adam Handelsman said in a written statement.

Fans who want to hit the road in true Matthew McConaughey style can have that chance – for a price. The actor is selling on ebay his commemorative Texas Longhorn National Championship Tribute motorcycle, designed and custom-built by Ralph Randolph’s Knockout Motorcycle Company following his University of Texas alma mater’s win at the 2006 Rose Bowl.
“When Ralph and I started the project I was originally going to keep the bike,” McConaughey has reportedly posted on the eBay listing. “But he and I decided it could get more use and raise money … Let the biddin’ begin, hook’em horns – and now and always, just keep livin’.”
The starting bid for the 2007 “Bobber” Sport Bike is $25,000. All proceeds are to go to McConaughey’s Just Keep Livin’ Foundation and the Texas Exes Scholarship Fund.
Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered the ‘Gimme More’ singer to pay $120,000 towards the $154,500 her ex-husband owes to his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.
Commissioner Gordon made the ruling after considering several factors including “the notable disparity between the parties’ income.”
Last week, court documents revealed Britney earns $737,868 a month, while Kevin receives $20,000 a month in spousal support and $15,000 in child support payments from the 25-year-old singer.
Britney spends $102,000 a month on entertainment - going out, gifts and vacations - $16,000 on her wardrobe, almost $50,000 on her mortgage, $10,000 on utility bills and just $6,000 on child care.
On October 10, Kevin’s lawyer Kaplan requested $160,000 for fees.
California law states that either party has access to legal representation to preserve their rights, even if that means one person must pay the other’s lawyer.

George Clooney got into a fight with romance novel coverboy Fabio during dinner at Madeo in West Hollywood on November 2. Fabio and a group of women, including a professional photographer, were sitting at a table next to George and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson. According to numerous eyewitnesses, George suspected the woman was snapping photos of him and Sarah, so he asked her to stop. “I thought you were a nice guy,” Fabio said to George as he approached the table. “Stop being a diva.” Those were apparently fighting words, because George stood up and the fight turned physical!

A photographer is suing Keanu Reeves after the US actor allegedly crashed into him in a Porsche.
According to the lawsuit filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Reeves struck Alison Silva on March 19.
At the time of the accident, authorities said the person Reeves struck was a male paparazzi.
The suit seeks an unspecified amount in damages and alleges that Silva suffered shock and serious bodily injuries.
An attorney for Reeves did not immediately return a phone message yesterday evening.
According to reports at the time of the accident, Reeves was leaving a parking space about 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles when he hit Silva.
An attorney for Reeves said at the time that Silva was blocking Reeves’ way and if there was a collision, it was not hard enough to cause injuries.
