New York City Drug Enforcement agents are unhappy with the way they are depicted in Denzel Washington’s new movie, “American Gangster,” and now one of them is threatening legal action against Universal for what he claims are “false and defamatory statements.”

TMZ has obtained a cease and desist letter sent by Dominic Amorosa, attorney for Gregory Korniloff, to the General Counsel of NBC Universal, and cc’d to the President of the studio.

NBC Universal did not respond to requests for comment.

Hulk Hogan’s estranged wife Linda is seeking half of the couple’s more than $9.5 million in assets, including a share of the value of their Bel Air mansion.

In her divorce filing, Linda Bollea, who appeared with her husband [real name: Terry Bollea] and their children during four seasons of VH1’s reality series Hogan Knows Best, calls the 24-year marriage “irretrievably broken,” the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Citing the divorce petition filed in Florida’s Pinellas Pasco Circuit Court, the newspaper says Linda, 46, wants to share parental responsibility for their son Nick, 17, with whom she hopes with live while her husband has “liberal” visitation rights. The couple’s eldest child, daughter Brooke Hogan, 19, is not legally subject to child support requirements.

Linda also seeks an unspecified amount in alimony and child support from the 53-year-old wrestler, as well as health insurance for Nick, who has been charged with reckless driving in a car crash in August in Clearwater in which Nick’s passenger was severely injured. As for money, Linda is seeking to split the couple’s assets, which include the 17,000-square-foot Bel Air mansion where the family primarily lives and a 3,474-square-foot home in Clearwater Beach, Fla., as well as a condo under construction in Las Vegas. The two existing homes alone are worth nearly $9.5 million, the petition says.

The Beatles legend - who is embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife Heather Mills - held hands with the ‘Pulp Fiction’ beauty as they enjoyed a romantic stroll through the gardens of London’s Kentwood House last Monday (11.19.07)

The pair - who first met at a New York party in June and were later seen at a concert together - then visited the main house, before driving off in the same car.

Shortly after they left the tourist attraction, the vehicle came to a halt and Paul was seen getting out and opening Rosanna’s door.

The three-times-divorced actress climbed out, threw her arms around Paul and tenderly kissed him before she clambered into the back of the car and he got into the front.

A witness said: “Paul looked smitten with her. They had a couple of cuddles and a kiss. It looks like it could be the beginning of something special.”

It was the couple’s second date in less than 24 hours.

Kate Moss stunned friends and partygoers when she allegedly begged for drugs at a recent party.

The supermodel was partying with Sienna Miller, Naomi Campbell and Kelly Osbourne (?) at Davinia Taylor’s 30th birthday party last weekend (17.11.07) when she asked DJ Elliot Eastwick for various drugs, including cocaine, cannabis and over-the-counter substance alkyl nitrate - which is popular with clubbers and gay men and is commonly known as ‘poppers’.

Eastwick told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “It was obvious to me she was on drugs.

“She kept saying, ‘Make me rave’, and demanded I change the music. Then someone in Kate’s group started rolling cannabis spliffs. Kate then pulled out some poppers from her handbag and started snorting them. You could see her loll as it took effect.

“She grabbed my lower arm, pulled me towards her and yelled, ‘Who’s got the drugs?’ I told her I didn’t know and didn’t have any but she said, ‘I want some gear. You’re a DJ, you must have some.’

“She was tapping on a record sleeve in the motion of someone racking up lines of coke. It was obvious what she was after. I remember thinking, ‘God, Kate Moss just asked me for cocaine.’

“Then she and some mates disappeared into a back room and when she came back she was bouncier than ever. It was obvious she was on something.”

Its not a shock to me that Kate Moss loves to party and do drugs but what the hell is she doing hanging out with Kelly Osbourne?

Actor Brad Pitt has pulled out of political thriller State of Play because of script concerns, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Universal confirmed the actor had left but it remained “committed to this project”, the trade paper reported.

Pitt was due to appear alongside Dame Helen Mirren and Ed Norton as an investigative journalist in the movie, based on a BBC drama series.

The script cannot be worked on because of the writers’ strike.

The film will be directed by Kevin Macdonald, who also directed The Last King of Scotland.

State of Play is about a team of journalists investigating the mysterious death of a political researcher.

The BBC TV original won a best actor Bafta for Bill Nighy, who played newspaper editor Cameron Foster, and further editing and sound honours.

Pitt was set to play Cal McCaffrey, portrayed by John Simm in the TV version.

Shameless writer Paul Abbott penned the original TV script but it has been adapted for the big screen by Matthew Michael Carnahan, who wrote Lions for Lambs, starring Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep.

TMZ has learned that Dennis Quaid’s newborn twins are fighting for their lives after being inadvertently overdosed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Sources tell us the twins — Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace — were accidentally given a massive dose of Heparin, an anti-coagulant. Babies typically get 10 units. Our sources say they were each mistakenly given 10,000 units. The drug is used to flush out IV lines and prevent blood clots. We’re told one dose was given on Sunday morning, another on Sunday evening.

We’re told late Sunday night, both babies started to “bleed out.” Both babies are now at Cedars in the neo-natal intensive care unit where we’re told they are stable.

The twins were born to Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington November 8 via surrogate.

A rep for Quaid did not immediately return our call for comment and there was no immediate comment from Cedars.

We’re told a technician stored the Heparin in the wrong place, and when a nurse grabbed the medicine for the babies without looking — it was the wrong dosage.

A source says the babies are now being given Protamine, which reverses the effects of Heparin.

UPDATE: We’re told as many as thirteen patients at Cedars were mistakenly given the overdose of Heparin, but the effects are more critical because of the age and weight of the twins.

Pamela Anderson has denied rumours her marriage is in trouble, insisting she doesn’t wear a ring for moral reasons.

The former ‘Baywatch’ babe, who married old friend Rick Salomon in Las Vegas last month (06.10.07), won’t wear any bling jewellery on her ring finger for ethical reasons.

Pamela - who married Rick in the hour break between her Las Vegas shows where she is performing as magician Hans Klok’s assistant - said: “Haven’t they ever seen Blood Diamond’ All I need is Rick around my finger.”

‘Blood Diamond’, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was a movie which highlighted the global problem of diamond trafficking.

Pamela celebrated Thanksgiving early last week (14.11.07), by hosting a turkey-free Thanksgiving dinner.

The 40-year-old star said: “The meatless meal was provided by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Garden Protein International, a Canadian company that markets ‘veggie turkey roast’ and other meat substitutes.”
