Britney Spears has regained visitation rights of her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, PEOPLE has learned.

The singer on Saturday was spotted driving with her children in Studio City, Calif., in her white Mercedes convertible, which was decorated with pumpkins on the dashboard.

A presumed court-appointed monitor was seated in the front seat, with her sons in the rear.

On Wednesday, L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon had temporarily suspended her visitation rights. A source close to Spears told PEOPLE the judge removed her rights after the pop star was unreachable by a cell phone designated for court-related scheduling.

On Thursday, Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said he expected Spears would get visitation reinstated soon because “she has complied with the part of the order [causing the suspension].”

Lawyers for both sides did not respond to calls for comment.

Spears and Federline are both required to show up for their next hearing on Oct. 26.

Kid Rock has been arrested in Atlanta in connection with a fight at a waffle house, the city’s Fox 5 News is reporting.

Rock (real name: Bob Ritchie), 36, who played a sold-out show Saturday night in Atlanta, and five members of his entourage were taken into custody facing a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

Police say Kid Rock stopped by a restaurant early Sunday after their show, and a male customer recognized a female in Rock’s entourage. Words were exchanged, and a fight ensued, the station reports.

After police were called, the singer’s tour bus was pulled over, and he and the members of his entourage were arrested. In addition to Rock’s arrest, the male customer also has been charged with a felony for allegedly smashing a window of the restaurant.

According to FOX, Kid Rock posted bail and was released Sunday evening from DeKalb County jail, signing autographs on his way out.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears cannot visit her two young children until she complies with a court order, a US court commissioner ruled today.

“Petitioner’s (Spears’) visitation with the minor children is suspended pending the petitioner’s compliance with the court orders,” Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon wrote in an order dated yesterday.

The ruling in Los Angeles followed an emergency hearing, the latest in a custody battle between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The singer is battling Federline for custody of their sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.

Lindsay Lohan stole new boyfriend snowboarder Riley Giles from his fiancée - according to the girl’s mother.

The 21-year-old actress confirmed reports she is dating the California-based X-Games star earlier this month, after leaving the Cirque Clinic rehab facility in Utah.

But Giles was already engaged to Utah resident Bree Tierney - and news of his relationship with the Mean Girls star has left her heartbroken.

Tierney’s mother, Tess, says: “Riley just stopped calling Bree and never told her about Lindsay.

“She found out by seeing photos. It destroyed her.”

Socialite Paris Hilton is “terrified” about her safety on her forthcoming trip to Rwanda - but insists she will still go.

The Simple Life star, 26, is making a charity jaunt to the African nation next month to film scenes for her new reality TV series.

But the hotel heiress is concerned about her personal safety.

She says: “I’m scared, yeah. I’ve heard it’s really dangerous. I’ve never been on a trip like this before.”

Jon Voight, who has been estranged for years from his children Angelina Jolie and James Haven, issued an emotional statement Tuesday following Haven’s harsh words in a recent magazine interview:

“I find it very heartbreaking that my children want to paint a bad portrait of me.

” I feel that it comes from their inability to let go of years of programmed anger from their mother (the late Marchelin Bertrand) who understandably felt quite hurt when we divorced.

“In all truth I tried to give them and their mother continuous love and support and large sums of money.

“God knows for years, I’ve tried to mend this relationship.

“Perhaps the trauma of their mother’s passing has made it worse. I continuously send them my heart and love and I’m always available to them for whatever they may need from me.”

Kevin Federline has reportedly been smoking marijuana on the set of his new TV show.

The 29-year-old former backing dancer - who is filming a guest spot on hit US teenage basketball drama ‘One Tree Hill’ - stunned cast and crew on the North Carolina set by openly lighting up illegal cannabis cigarettes.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “He is smoking marijuana all round the set, like it is just part of his lifestyle. The smell is so potent it’s obvious that he is not just smoking regular cigarettes.

“He doesn’t seem to see a need to hide it at all.”

Kevin has also been making his presence known in the town of Wilmington with his generous tipping.

One local bartender said: “I have served him a few times and he has always been really generous. He once left me a $600 tip for just two beers.”

Earlier this month, Kevin won custody of his two sons with ex-wife Britney Spears, after she failed to attend one court-ordered drugs test.

How bad is Britney when she can’t get custody from this guy! 

Britney Spears was involved in another fender bender as she arrived at a Hollywood party at the weekend.

The clumsy singer, who still faces a hit-and-run charge for leaving the scene of a parking lot prang in August without addressing the owner of a vehicle she hit, reversed into a paparazzi’s car while trying to park on Saturday night.

Learning from her last accident, red-faced Spears tracked down the owner of the car she bumped, stating: “I’m stupid, I’m sorry… I’m a horrible driver.”

She then joked: “Are you going to sue me or something?” but the forgiving snapper just shrugged off the incident and told Spears, who was wearing sunglasses on a dreary Los Angeles night, “not to worry”.

Josh Hartnett and Rihanna were spotted “kissing and cuddling” in a nightclub before leaving together.

The pair were all over each other as they shared a table and drank Dom Perignon champagne at New York nightspot Pink Elephant on Thursday evening (10.11.07).

A source told US Weekly magazine: “They spent the evening drinking together and there was lots of kissing and cuddling. It was very intimate.

“They didn’t come together but they did leave together!”

Rihanna, 19, headed to the Pink Elephant after performing at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square that evening.

Kate Hudson is reportedly trying to rekindle her romance with ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson after splitting from Dax Shepard.

The ‘Almost Famous’ actress is said to be desperate to woo back Owen - who was hospitalised in August after a failed suicide bid - after realising she still loves him.

A source said: “It was working out between her and Dax but it’s a clean break.

“After Owen’s suicide attempt, she realised how much she loved him, and broke up with Dax.”
