Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba has had the last laugh over a boy who turned her down at school - she dedicated her recent Female Hottie award to him.

The stunning actress picked up the award at the annual Teen Choice awards on Sunday night - and was quick to humiliate her unrequited love.

Alba, 24, said: “I would like to dedicate this award to a young man who has been on my mind for the last 19 years: Ross.

“Ross didn’t love me. I was pigeon-toed, I had a sway back, I was slightly cross-eyed, buck-toothed, I sucked my thumb. Look at me now, Ross! Look at me now!”

Hulk Hogan’s son Nick Bollea was seriously injured Sunday night after his car careened off the road and struck a palm tree.

Bollea, who was featured with the rest of his family on the pro wrestler’s VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, was driving his yellow Toyota Supra down a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater, Fla., when the car’s rear tires hit the raised median, police said. After fishtailing for several seconds, the car slammed into a 25-foot tall palm tree.

“His car inexplicably left the road,” Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor tells PEOPLE, “and it was totally destroyed upon impact.”

The cause of the crash is unknown, although police believe the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. “We don’t know exactly what happened,” says Shelor, “but we are investigating.”

Bollea, 17, and his male passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle using the “jaws of life.” They were placed on a Medivac helicopter where they were flown seven minutes to nearby Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Bollea is in serious condition, while his passenger has been listed in critical condition.

Police alerted Hulk Hogan to the accident. According to a hospital source, the wrestler and his family are in a private waiting room as Bollea is being treated for “very serious, life-threatening” injuries. Hogan declined to address the media through a hospital spokesperson on Sunday evening, but plans to make a statement on Monday morning.

Owen Wilson’s parents and brothers were seen at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday night amid reports Wilson was hospitalized.

Santa Monica police issued a statement saying officers responded to a “medical assistance call” at a house on Wilson’s street shortly after noon Sunday. A source confirmed the house was Wilson’s.

“The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated,” the police statement said.

According to media reports, it was Wilson who was transported.

Later in the evening, Wilson’s brothers Andrew and Luke, as well as his parents, were seen at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Wilson’s rep didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Wilson, who stars in the upcoming Wes Anderson movie The Darjeeling Limited, is currently filming the comedy Tropic Thunder, directed by Wilson’s friend Ben Stiller.

The Departed star believes the world is on the brink of destruction because of global warming, and insists human beings face a very “bleak future” unless we change our ways.

Leonardo - who has made a documentary film called ‘The 11th Hour’ to highlight the environmental issue - said: “We find ourselves on the brink. We face a very bleak future, and to avoid it we need dramatic worldwide change. It needs to go way beyond politics or religion. It’s scary and it’s daunting.

“Its clear humans have had a very devastating impact on our planet’s ecological web of life.”

But despite his concerns, the 32-year-old insists there is still “hope”.

He said in an interview with The Ecologist magazine: “When you look at the data regarding climate change it’s hard not to be depressed but when you look at people, think about things like their resilience and creativity and determination, there is hope.”

Leonardo has long campaigned on environmental issues and set up the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998.

Nicolas Cage is being lined up to star in the big screen version of hit 80s TV show ‘Magnum, P.I.’

The ‘Ghost Rider’ actor is in talks to take on the role of suave private detective Thomas Magnum, originally made famous by Tom Selleck.

Cage is said to be seriously considering the offer after being impressed by the script, which has an even balance of comedy and crime-solving.

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney was originally favourite to play Magnum with British comedian Rick Gervais as his British boss Jonathan Higgins.

BRITNEY SPEARS was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit while driving early Saturday morning in Los Angeles, according to x17online.com.

The singer was reportedly accompanied by two of her dancers in a white Mercedes convertible when the highway patrol pulled her over at about 12:30 a.m. near downtown L.A.

Brit was said to have been cooperative with police and reportedly had one of her friends drive once the authorities left the scene.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan’s parents have spoken of their “sadness” after the star was ordered to serve one day in jail for drink-driving.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star will also perform 10 days of community service after pleading guilty to two of the seven misdemeanour charges against her.

Lohan had been charged with driving under the influence and being under the influence of cocaine in relation to two drink-driving arrests in Beverly Hills, California and nearby Santa Monica in May and July of this year.

Lohan’s mother Dina has branded the sentence “sad”, adding: “Something bad is going to happen, I’m afraid.”

Her ex-husband Michael - who has served time in jail himself - says his daughter was “a victim of her own celebrity”.

“She is a little girl who has been used by everybody around her because of her celebrity and that’s what’s landed her where she is. Now, she needs a helping hand, not a sentence.

“I’m against it. Jail would probably harm Lindsay more than help her.”

Lohan must now serve a 24-hour jail term, after the judge cut a mandatory four-day jail sentence in half and ordered her to carry out 10 days of community service.

A further day was taken off the sentence because of time Lohan has already served during her arrests.

They should be lucky she only has 1 day of jail time.  Any normal person would have gotten much more.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Bill Murray could face a drunken driving charge after cruising through downtown Stockholm in a golf cart and refusing to take a breath test, citing U.S. law.

Police officers spotted the “Caddyshack” star early Monday in the slow-moving vehicle and noticed he smelled of alcohol when they pulled him over, said Detective-Inspector Christer Holmlund of the Stockholm police.

“He refused to blow in the (breath test) instrument, citing American legislation,” Holmlund told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “So we applied the old method — a blood test. It will take 14 days before the results are in.”

Murray, who had been at a golf tournament in Sweden, signed a document admitting that he was driving under the influence, and agreed to let a police officer plead guilty for him if the case goes to court, Holmlund said.

“Then he was let go. My guess is he went back to America,” Holmlund said.

He said the 56-year-old actor-comedian would only be charged if tests show his blood alcohol level exceeded the legal limit, which is quite low in Sweden.

A very high alcohol level could lead to a prison sentence, but Holmlund said fines were more likely.

“There were no obvious signs, like when someone is really tipsy,” he said.

An e-mail to Murrays lawyer, David Nochimson, seeking comment wasnt immediately returned.

The golf cart had been on display for a week outside the downtown hotel where Murray and other VIPs attending the Scandinavian Masters golf tournament, were staying, tournament head Fredrik Nilsmark said.

Murray apparently drove the golf cart to the trendy Cafe Opera nightclub, less than a mile away, and was pulled over on his way back to the hotel.

Nilsmark said the vehicle wasn’t intended for guests but added: “I don’t hold any grudge against Bill Murray for borrowing our cart for a while.”

Cafe Opera manager Daniel Bodahl confirmed that Murray had visited the nightclub late Sunday and said “he was a very good guest.”

It isn’t illegal to drive a golf cart in city traffic in Sweden, but Holmlund said it is very unusual.

“I have done this since ’68 and I’ve never experienced anything like this,” he said.

Murray was among the cast members on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” He was nominated for an Oscar for 2003’s “Lost in Translation.” His screen credits also include “Groundhog Day” and “Rushmore.”

A $13,000 handbag and other items were snatched from Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst’s penthouse suite at a posh Manhattan hotel earlier this month, according to US court records.

Thieves slipped into the actress’ rooms at the SoHo Grand Hotel on August 9, court records show.

Dunst, who was in New York to shoot scenes for the forthcoming film How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, had left early that morning, according to the records.

Darting into the suite through an open door, the thieves grabbed designer bags, $2,500 in cash, credit and ID cards, two digital cameras, a mobile phone and an iPod music player.

A surveillance camera captured the burglars leaving the hotel with the items, according to a court complaint. One suspect, Jarrod Beinerman, 33, was being held on $50,000 bond after being arraigned in a Manhattan court on burglary and grand larceny charges.

He was arrested after going to a Brooklyn court for an unrelated case on Tuesday.

Beinerman’s lawyer told a judge that the surveillance camera showed his client was not carrying anything in his hands when he left the SoHo Grand.

Authorities have since recovered credit cards, IDs and the mobile phone.
