Britney Spears has finalised her divorce from Kevin Federline.

The official papers were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (30.07.07) and signed in the afternoon by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon.

Britney’s lawyer Laura Wasser said after the hearing: “They are divorced. Everything is finalised.

“I think she’s OK with the terms. She would like to be with the kids more. She said that. She thinks Kevin would like that too.

“I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line.”

Great now Britney can focus 100% on losing the rest of her mind and career, no more Federline distractions.

Gary Coleman was cited for disorderly conduct in Provo, Utah, following a public argument with a female companion last Friday.

Passersby called the police when they noticed the diminutive actor getting upset and hitting the steering wheel of his vehicle while involved in a heated discussion with a woman, the Associated Press reports.

He calmed down when the authorities arrived and was issued the misdemeanor citation. The woman was not identified.

Coleman, 39, moved to the rural Utah town of Santaquin in 2005 when he started filming the movie Church Ball.

Usher has flown to Atlanta to save his relationship with his mother.The ‘Confessions’ singer reportedly called off his wedding to pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster at the last minute on Saturday (28.07.07), because his mum Jonetta Patton wasn’t going to be there.

Jonetta, who was her son’s former manager, was left off the guest list because of her alleged ongoing feud with Tameka. Usher is now desperately trying to repair their damaged relationship.

A source told the New York Daily newspaper: “The reason he called off the ceremony is that he couldn’t go through with it without Jonetta. He had an eleventh-hour epiphany.”

Usher flew home to Atlanta yesterday (29.07.07). It isn’t yet known if Tameka travelled with him.

Movie star and bad shoplifter Winona Ryder is still on the look for Mr Right because she’s desperate to settle down and start a family.

The 35-year-old actress, who has dated Matt Damon, Johnny Depp and rocker Dave Pirner (who?), admits she thought she would be married with a child by the time she turned 30 - but she’s still hunting for her soulmate.

She tells Vogue magazine, “I assumed I would be married and have a kid by the age I am now.

“It kind of occurred to me for the first time this last year: I actually want to go on and have kids… It’s this weird pressure that I probably shouldn’t even talk about.

After the dog-fighting scandal resulted in an indictment, Michael Vick has been suspended from his big money contracts with Nike, Reebok and a trading card company.

This week, Nike released a statement, “Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick, and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent.” The company had already ceased selling all Vick-related products, but chose not to suspend the contract until the case was filed.

Reebok has stopped selling Vick’s jersey, as has the NFL, and the Donruss trading card company has pulled Vick’s card from new packs.

At least this might encourage people to stop dogfighting, which is just pathetic for anyone to participate in, especially a so called role model.

The ring was massive, but don’t expect a blowout wedding. Murphy’s first wedding to Nicole Mitchell in 1993 (they split in 2005), was a lavish $1.5 million affair, and is ranked by Forbes in the top ten most expensive celeb weddings of all time. This one, a friend told OK! magazine, “will be a private wedding. Something low key and very romantic.”

Steve Martin got married tonight to former New Yorker journalist Anne Stringfield.

Martin, 61, and Stringfield, 35, started dating in 2002.

They got hitched at Martin’s Los Angeles home. I’m told guests were not told beforehand that the wedding would be taking place. Martin and Stringfield only told them they were inviting them to a dinner party.

The wedding between Usher and his pregnant fiance has been cancelled, his publicist said today.

It was expected the multiplatinum singer would marry his longtime girlfriend, Tameka Foster, this weekend.

The pair are expecting their first child together sometime this autumn.

However, a statement released by publicist Patti Webster read: “It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was cancelled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected.”

Foster and Usher announced their engagement earlier this year, and later, that she was expecting his first child.

She has three other children from a previous marriage.

It was not immediately clear whether the pair were still engaged or even a couple.
