Jimmy Kimmel Live is getting its host back – or most of him.

The 39-year-old Kimmel returns to his late-night show Tuesday for the first time since having emergency surgery last Wednesday to remove his appendix.

“I feel much better now and am delighted to announce that Brad and Angelina may choose to adopt my appendix and give it a loving home,” he told PEOPLE in a statement Monday.

The show, halted to give Kimmel time to recover, resumes with guests comedian Don Rickles and jazz singer Keely Smith.

Criminal Minds actor Shemar Moore has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI).

The 37-year-old, who currently on U.S. TV series Criminal Minds, was arrested in the early hours of 1 June (07) after being pulled over by Los Angeles police for reportedly speeding near Santa Monica Boulevard at 1.30am.

According to the arrest report, Moore “displayed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted”.

Moore was arrested and taken to a local police station, before being released after posting $5,000 bail.

Just hours after being charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI) on Friday (22Jun07), the 37-year-old’s California DUI lawyer made the plea and the DUI charges were dropped.

Nicole Kidman celebrated her birthday with husband Keith Urban, after he paid her a surprise visit.

The actress, who turned 40 last Wednesday (20.06.07), was thrilled when Keith took a break from his US tour to see her in Australia.

The country singer arrived in Sydney early on Tuesday morning (19.06.07), before taking a private jet to Queensland’s Whitsunday Coast - where Nicole is filming new movie ’Australia’ opposite Hugh Jackman.

The couple celebrated the landmark birthday by watching a fireworks display from a mountain-top lookout in the beach town of Bowen.

A source told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Keith brought her up the hill and they sat on a couch outside on the lawn. It was so romantic.

“He had planned to have a party in a mountain-top restaurant but she wanted a quiet affair. So Keith just surprised her with a fireworks display. It was a private thing with just him and her.”

The display ended with the words ‘Happy Birthday Nicole’ spelt out by fireworks.

WOW that’s really sweet, no wonder she ditched crazy Tom Cruise.

It took 20 years – but Tony Bennett finally married his longtime girlfriend Susan Crow in New York City, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“They were married in a private, intimate ceremony,” says the rep.

Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and his wife Matilda attended the civil ceremony as witnesses on Thursday.

This is the third marriage for Bennett, 80, and the first for Crow. The couple are co-founders of the charitable organization Exploring the Arts, which champions arts-education programs for young artists.

The newlyweds will honeymoon in Italy.

Paris Hilton will leave jail on Tuesday after serving 23 days of the original 45-day sentence imposed by a judge for violating probation, sheriff’s officials said Friday.

The total term takes into account 22 days of credit for good behavior.

“There was some confusion as to whether it would be Monday or Tuesday, and we just wanted to let people know what was happening,” says sheriff’s Sgt. Duane Allen, Jr.

Records specialists calculated her actual release date, based on Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer’s orders, and it is June 26. She can be released any time of day or night.

Here’s hoping they release her at 11:59 PM on Tuesday night.

NBC has canceled their One Million dollar interview with Paris Hilton. No official reason was given, but NBC is backtracking and saying they never sealed the deal on the interview to begin with, so there was nothing really there to cancel.

Im sure someone will give her a million dollars or more for an interview, but really who cares! I mean who gives a shit about what jail was like for her, it doesnt seem like anyone really cares.

Mel Brown 32, was given the news in LA yesterday from the Beverly Hills Clinic where Mr Murphy had been ordered by a court to take a DNA test earlier this month.

Murphy had consistantly denied he was the father of Browns second child Angel Iris.

But Murphy, who split with the former Spice girl during her pregnancy, insisted he would ‘do the right thing’ if the child did prove to be his.

Three-month-old Angel will be the Shrek stars seventh child.

A source told Britains Sun newspaper “It is such a relief that this is finally over.” adding “Mel has known all along that Eddie is the father and can’t believe it has taken a paternity test to prove it. She is delighted the truth is out there now and she can get back to concentrating on being a mum.”

Paris Hilton’s West Hollywood neighbours are bracing themselves for a media circus when the heiress is released from jail.

The socialite is currently serving time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California for a parole violation, but is expected to be released for good behavior on 25 June.
