Lindsay Lohan’s on-off boyfriend Calum Best has vowed to enter rehab to beat his drink, drugs and sex addictions.

Calum Best, whose sometime lover Lindsay Lohan checked into rehab for the second time on Monday (28.05.07), admits he needs to get help so his life doesn’t spin out of control.

The 26-year-old model - whose soccer legend father George Best died in 2005 aged 59 following a lengthy battle with alcoholism - confessed to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “I’m a bad boy. I go out and get drunk, I get high on cocaine and I do stupid debauched things with the wrong women.

“When I’m high I do wild stupid shit. I’m a red-blooded male and I’m addicted to sex. I don’t have to be like my dad, but I feel his blood running through my veins. I need to sort out my problems before it’s too late.”

Calum’s frank admission came after pictures were published of him indulging in a cocaine-fuelled threesome with two prostitutes.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse for Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, is claiming that Lindsay is being treated for the powerful painkiller OxyContin in addition to her drug and alcohol addiction. He tells E!:

“I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care. And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That’s a very important step. And I learned they use the 12-step program which includes a lot of lessons based on God’s teachings, so I was satisfied with that. First she needs to get clean, then she needs to let God into her life.”

Paris Hilton heads off to jail in less than five days, but that hasn’t stopped her from hooking up with new guys and finding work. She was spotted at The Grove shopping center in LA with a new boy toy who refused to give his name when asked for it by the paparazzi. Additionally, she was seen coming home carrying a new script and looking absolutely delighted.

The 26-year-old socialite was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating the terms of the probation she received for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) but she will only serve 23 days.

Paris Hilton released a statement saying, “I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation”, and two weeks later dropped her appeal case against the sentence.

Im sure she’s somewhat worried but really It’s only 23 days and she knows she’s going to just get more famous for this. Plus you know she’s going to be treated different then everyone else, she’s Paris Hilton.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s latest family addition has officially taken their surnames.

A Santa Monica court on Thursday approved Pax Thien’s name change to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, a court clerk confirms to PEOPLE.

Pax, 3, was adopted from a Vietnamese orphanage in March, joining Pitt and Jolie’s three other children, Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1.

Because Vietnamese law makes it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt, Jolie adopted Pax on her own, but he is being raised by both the actress and Pitt.

Why the hell don’t these two get married already, rumor has it that Angelina is planning a secret wedding and lets hope so.

Troubled R&B singer Brandy is suing another driver involved in her December (06) crash, accusing him of causing the accident which left a mother-of-two dead.

The singer/actress, real name Brandy Norwood, is facing possible charges of misdemeanour vehicular manslaughter after her car ploughed into 38-year-old Awatef Aboudihaj’s Toyota Corolla on the San Diego Freeway in California on 30 December (06).

Another driver involved in the multi-vehicle accident, Mallory Ham, sued Norwood on Friday (25May07), accusing the star of driving in a “recklessly wantonly, unlawfully, and maliciously” manner and claims she was left “severely injured” following the collision.

In response, Norwood has filed a suit in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing Ham of causing the accident, and also denies the allegations in the latter’s lawsuit.

Norwood’s lawyer Edwin McPherson says, “She’s just responding to pieces of litigation as they come in and doesn’t want to comment at this time.”

The former ‘Baywatch’ star insists she doesn’t recognise her surgically-enhanced boobs on screen because they look so much bigger.

She said: “I think my breasts expand on TV. I swear I don’t feel that big. When I look at them on TV, I think, ‘Who is that?’ It’s all lighting.”

Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’S End has smashed the record for the biggest worldwide opening in history - the movie raked in a massive $401 million (£200.5 million) in its first six days of release.

The second sequel in the Walt Disney-made series has already broken box office records in the U.S. for the best Memorial Day weekend debut, after making $142.1 million.

At World’s End beat the previous record for best opening set by the release of Spider Man 3 earlier this year (07), which made a total of $382 million in its first few days.

Walt Disney Studios spokesman Mark Zoradi says, “We knew that audiences all over the world were excited to see Johnny Depp and the rest of the fantastic Pirates cast in this latest adventure, but this record-setting response at the global box office has been nothing short of incredible.

“Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End now has the biggest opening in movie history, and we’re extremely proud of that achievement.

Angelina Jolie is secretly planning a lavish wedding for her and her lover Brad Pitt, it has been reported.

The actress - who has been married twice before - is said to have secretly accepted Brad’s marriage proposal, and is now organising a ceremony which will dwarf the actor’s 2000 $1 million wedding to Jennifer Aniston.

A source told Grazia magazine: “Angelina has been reluctant to get married for a third time, for obvious reasons.

“Brad has been persistent and has now given in, but she wants the day to be really memorable. While she doesn’t want it to be unnecessarily lavish, that’s not her style, it will still be an event Hollywood will never forget.

“She also wants their children to see it as a huge celebration of her and Brad’s love for them. The daytime part of the celebration will be for the kids, with clowns and balloons and fire-eaters. But then the real party will begin in the evening.”

The source added: “The wedding could end up being twice the size of the one Brad had with Jennifer.”
