“Simple Life” star Nicole Richie has hypoglycemia, the celebutante’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE.In her ongoing effort to focus on her well-being, Nicole has recently been diagnosed with hypoglycemia,” the rep said. “[She] is taking steps to manage it.”

Hypoglycemia is a medical condition that happens when a persons blood sugar level dips too low to provide an adequate amount of energy for the body’s activities.

Recently Nicole and her friend Paris Hilton have been counselors at a health camp where Richie’s well-being took a focus.

Actor Woody Harrelson’s father, Charles Harrelson, died in the Supermax federal prison where he was serving two life sentences for the murder of a federal judge, officials said Wednesday.Charles Harrelson, 69, was found unresponsive in his cell on March 15 and apparently died of natural causes, said Felicia Ponce, a Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman in Washington.

Ponce did not know the exact cause of death. Fremont County Coroner Dorothy Twellman did not immediately return a call.

Britney Spears is on the loose, she finished nearly one-month stint in rehab and has left the facility.

Spears “has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program,” her manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement late Tuesday night. I give it less than a week before she starts drinking again and heads back out to the clubs.
