Out in a celebratory mood,  Lindsay Lohan was spotted hiding behind some balloons as she and girlfriend  Samantha Ronson were spotted leaving Paru’s Restaurant on Wednesday night (December 17).

The pair were helping to celebrate Sam’s brother Mark Ronson’s girlfriend Tennessee Thomas’ birthday on this particular night.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have been inseparable for some time now, but lately there have been rumors that things have been a bit rocky. Just a few days ago we heard that they were fighting and supposedly the girls are even in couples therapy trying to work out their issues.

They’re still attached at the hip as far as we can see, but do you think Lindsay and Samantha are headed for a breakup?

Lindsay Lohan swam in a Los Angeles pool in unchanged water just a week after someone died there.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson were partying at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel when they cavorted in the pool last weekend, but were not made aware of the death which had occurred a week earlier.

On October 13, staff found 30-year-old Jordan Nagler dead at the bottom of the Tropicana Bar pool.

Ed Winter, assistant chief of investigations for the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, said: “He was found at the bottom of the pool wearing swimming trunks. The staff at the hotel found him, but we don’t know who actually removed him from the pool.”

However, staff reportedly decided there was no need to drain the pool following the incident.

A source at the hotel told the New York Post newspaper: “Management had a meeting, where they told staffers the pool didn’t need to be drained because there was enough chlorine in it to kill the bacteria.

“Following the tragedy, the hotel held a meeting with employees of the Roosevelt, Teddy’s, the club inside the hotel, and Tropicana Bar. Staffers were instructed not to say anything to anyone.”

Lindsay Lohan wants to adopt a child.

Lindsay, who recently confirmed she is in a relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson - is looking forward to becoming a mother, and would like to help a child in need.

She said: “At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well. A child in need or a newborn from another country, I’m not sure.”

Although the 22-year-old star - who has completed three stints in rehab for alcohol and drug problems - admits she is “happy” in her relationship with Ronson, she stops short of crediting the DJ with helping her get her life back on track.

Instead, Lindsay claims the positive changes in her are solely down to her desire to change.

She said: “People can think what they want. I’m really happy, and that’s all that matters. She’s a really great person.

“But I think that anything that’s change in my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she’s a great person.”

The actress added she is proud at the way she has managed to turn her life around - in 2006 she was publicly criticised by producers for being “irresponsible and unprofessional” during the filming of ‘Georgia Rule’ - and is certain she will never return to rehab.

She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “I’ve learned. I’ll never go back. And it’s not a never-say-never type of thing - it’s just I know. I know.”

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have both posted message of support to their friends DJ AM and Travis Barker, who were critically injured in a plane crash that also claimed the lives of four others.

Writing on her MySpace celebrity blog, Lohan terms what happened “horrible news,” and goes on to say, “please send your prayers out to adam goldstien and travis barker – along with the others lost in the plane crash …

“it’s so scary to think that life can end so fast … we must all treasure each and every moment – and be thankful for what we have.”

In Ronson’s message, she writes: “my good friend adam (dj am) was in a plane crash last night, he was lucky to survive but is still in the hospital being treated for burns (so i read). i don’t really know what to say, it’s such horrifying news, but i was hoping you guys would please send him your best wishes/prayers because I don’t really know what else to do. also for travis barker, who was on the plane. four other people were on the plane and did not survive, i can’t even imagine the pain their families must be in. soooooo sad and i’m so sorry.”

It was a romantic day of shopping, dining and partying in New York City for inseparable duo Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.

The couple’s busy July 28 included a trip to Chanel in SoHo, a late lunch at Bar Pitti and a romantic dinner at Gemma Restaurant.

Holding hands and gazing into each other eyes, the couple dined in a cozy, candlelit corner table at Gemma late Monday evening. The two looked quite happy, sitting next to each other as they chatted and laughed in a dark corner of the popular restaurant alongside Ronson’s brother Mark and a male friend.

After Gemma, Lohan and Ronson continued the party at the Bowery Hotel’s patio bar. Wearing a sky blue T-shirt, white jeans and one of her trademark straw fedoras, Ronson doted on Lohan, often putting her arm around her and laughing with the actress while more friends joined the couple.

They left shortly after midnight, with Lohan toting a Chanel-quilted purse and Ronson following in close pursuit.
