Lindsay Lohan has gone from nympho  to klepto . Last night she was spotted getting close with Nicole Richie’s man Joel Madden at Hornitos (above). But that’s not her only caper. The New York Post is reporting that Lindsay allegedly ganked a fur coat from a Columbia student back in January. And has been photographed wearing the coat:

Masha Markova, 22, believed she had forever lost the prized jacket - a gift from her grandmother - while attending a private birthday party at 1Oak in the Meatpacking District in the early-morning hours of Jan. 26.
She added that at one point, she was seated next to Lohan, and recalled putting the mink in a common bin with other jackets. It was gone when she prepared to leave 1Oak after an hour, Markova said.
Two weeks later, Markova flipped through the Feb. 11 edition of OK! Magazine and couldn’t believe her eyes - Lohan was photographed the night of Jan. 26 wearing the very same fur coat.

Masha, who is now seeking $10,000 in damages, eventually got the coat back after her lawyer contacted Lindsay’s attorney Blaire Berk.

Lindsay Lohan’s worried father Michael fears for his daughter’s health -because she is taking the same prescription drugs as late actor Heath Ledger.

Michael claims the actress was prescribed Oxycontin after breaking her wrist in 2006 and is concerned she may accidentally overdose just like Ledger.

He tells In Touch Weekly: “Even before Heath’s death, I told Lindsay that I’m very concerned about the pills she’s taking.

“They also had her on Adderall for her Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Xanax for depression and anxiety and Ambien for insomnia.

“I’m not only fearful for Lindsay, but for all the other kids out there.

Most of these young people shouldn’t be on some of these medications - instead, they should get spiritual guidance, counselling and exercise.”

Ledger died last month following an accidental overdose of prescribed medications.

It’s really an honor.” And while Lindsay has even bought an apartment that Marilyn once lived in, don’t expect her to follow in Marilyn’s tragic footsteps. “You know, it’s also tragic what just recently happened to someone else,” Lindsay said about her late friend, Heath Ledger. “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… but I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

Reformed party-animal Lindsay Lohan has pledged her support to troubled singers Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse by blaming the media for their public downfalls.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress - who spent last summer in rehab in Utah battling substance abuse - claims the pair will not be able to find stability in their lives all the while they are under the media spotlight.

She explains: “I think lots of people go through dark times, but it’s even harder with everyone watching.

“It’s a lot of pressure and I really feel for them, but I can’t compare myself to them.

“Everyone is their own person and they will overcome it in their own ways.”

Spears is currently being held at a Los Angeles hospital for psychiatric treatment while Winehouse is seeking help for drug addiction at a clinic in London.

Lindsay Lohan and Brody Jenner avoided being photographed together Friday night as the two hit night clubs in New York, but while inside they got pretty cozy, sources tell PEOPLE.

The pair were spotted “all over each other” at Beatrice Inn. They stayed about 30 minutes and then headed to another celebrity hot spot, The Box, along with buddy Frankie Delgado. Reportedly, they both lingered until 3:30 a.m.

“She likes him. It’s early, but they are more than friends,” a source says of Lohan. “He seems to like her back. They’re actually sweet together, it would be nice if she kept him around.”

On the other hand, Brody recently told PEOPLE that his “new girlfriend” Cora Skinner had “met the parents” and “She’s part of the family.”

Lindsay Lohan relapsed in her struggle to stay sober, a lawyer for the star confirmed to Access Hollywood.

While in Italy to receive an honor for her film work, the actress was videotaped taking a drink from a champagne bottle on the dance floor at a New Year’s Eve Party.

“After being handed a champagne bottle on New Years Eve and drinking from it, fortunately Lindsay immediately stopped herself, called her sponsor and got back on track,” Lindsay’s lawyer Blair Berk told Access Hollywood. “There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her ‘one day at a time’ with the entire world.”

The actress - who was honoured for her contribution to the film industry at the Capri Film Festival in Italy on Sunday - was criticised for her performance in thriller ‘I Know Who Killed Me’.

Eddie Murphy also featured in the AOL Moviefone poll for his role in ‘Norbit’, while the film was considered to be the biggest waste of the price of a ticket.

Matt Damon was recognised for his good acting in ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ and ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’, and Shia LeBeouf was named best newcomer. He also won best screen duo along with Megan Fox for ‘Transformers’.

The survey, which attracted more than 3.8 million votes, offered users a choice of five nominees in each category.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star was photographed in romantic clinches with three Italian “hunks” on the Italian island of Capri as she attended the Capri Film Festival over the weekend.

First she was pictured kissing Italian waiter Alessandro Di Nunzio soon after arriving on the island on Friday (28.12.07), before sharing a kiss with actor Eduardo Costa the following day (29.12.07).

The 21-year-old actress was then caught on camera yesterday morning (30.12.07) canoodling with actor Dario Faiella, the son of Italian music legend Peppino Di Capri.

An onlooker said: “Lindsay is really enjoying herself in Capri. She has a thing for dark-haired Italian hunks. She wasn’t content to just share a kiss with one man - it seemed like she was on a mission.

“She doesn’t seem to have had any time for anything but men since she got here.”

It was recently rumoured that Lindsay is dating 28-year-old music producer J.R. Rotem, who has previously been romantically linked to Britney Spears.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The busboy who sued Lindsay Lohan alleges in court papers that he has proof the actress had been drinking before she collided with his van in Beverly Hills in October 2005.

Raymundo Ortega, who is seeking $200,000 (euro135,870) in damages, contends Lohan drove her Mercedes-Benz into a van he was driving after she drank alcohol, and that she later tried to escape paparazzi.

The court papers were filed Tuesday.

Lohan, 21, has countersued, saying the California Highway Patrol concluded that Ortega caused the crash by making an illegal U-turn.

Her lawyers were scheduled to ask a judge next month to compel Ortega to prove the actress was drunk. Instead, they filed to cancel the Los Angeles Superior Court hearing, saying Ortega provided responses to their discovery request.

Lohan was 19 at the time of the crash. She recently spent more than a month at a drug and alcohol treatment program in Utah, her third visit to rehab this year.

She served 84 minutes in jail Nov. 15 as part of a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine possession charges stemming from two arrests that were unrelated to the crash that prompted the lawsuit.

Last week, the celebrity gossip site TMZ.com published what it said was a receipt showing what Lohan and four friends ordered at the Ivy restaurant the afternoon of the crash. The bill includes four Ivy Gimlets, a vodka drink.
