Lindsay Lohan has been left battered and bruised after taking pole-dancing lessons.

The “Mean girls” actress has been having strip-tease training in preparation for her role as a topless dancer in new movie “I Know Who Killed Me,” but has been finding the work-outs tough. 
Lindsay told the New York Post newspaper: “Three hours of pole-dancing and bruised everywhere. I mean we’re talking upper and inner thigh action-bruised - like a walking black-and-blue mark.”
“I mean really though, really, I didn’t know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body.”
“Strippers dude, I tell you, I really respect the ****s now. I’m not gonna lie to you.”
The 20-year-old’s representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, said: “She’s been in rehearsals for the film and has been taking classes from Sheila Kelly.”

“Her character is a stripper, and she now realizes that the job isn’t easy. We should give these women credit.”
Kelly is famous for developing the trendy “S Factor” aerobic striptease workout.

Lindsay Lohan has confirmed she is attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

The 20-year-old actress has stopped drinking alcohol completely after going on a series of binges.
She said: “I’ve been going to AA for a year.”

When asked why she hadn’t admitted to it sooner, she replied: “Well it’s no one’s business. That’s why it’s anonymous!”
“I haven’t had a drink in seven days. I’m not even legal to, so why would I?”

“I don’t drink when I go to clubs. I drink with my friends at home, but there’s no need to. I feel better not drinking. It’s more fun. I have Red Bull.” 
Lohan believes her partying spiraled out of control because she was working too hard.
She said: “I didn’t feel bad before. I never felt bad. I just wanted to, like, find a balance. I was out too much. I was too caught up. I mean, I’m 20. I was off from work, I was getting ready to start a film, and I was like going out just to get it out of my system.”
“I was going out too much and I knew that, and I have more to live for than that.”

The “Mean girls” star is now determined to focus on her acting career, and insists that contrary to popular belief she is a hard worker.
She added: “I was like, I don’t want to be written about at these clubs with these people. I work, I act, I earn a living. That’s what I do every day. I work every single day.”

The “Mean Girls” star and her mother Dina, who are often seen out clubbing together, were seen at the weekend leaving Los Angeles aerobics studio, Sheila Kelley’s S Factor.

The class is an aerobic workout based on strip tease and poll dance routines designed to tone up and increase fitness, according to website X17. 
Lindsay has also started joined Alcoholics Anonymous in a bid to turn over a new leaf and clean up her lifestyle.

Although the 20-year-old actress was seen with a glass of champagne at the GQ awards two weeks ago, she has since been seen at Los Angeles hotspots Hollywood Social, Hyde and Chateau Marmont drinking water.
Lindsay has ditched her party animal pals such as Paris Hilton and has only been socializing with her non-celebrity friends, according to the New York Post newspaper.
A source said: “Her family just hope it lasts.”

The “Just my luck” star was first seen going into an AA meeting in Los Angeles at 7.30am two weeks ago.
A source said: “She has attended several meetings and has hopefully decided to turn her life around - this time for good. She is out of control.”

Her concerned mother Dina has flown to Los Angeles to help her daughter.
Lindsay is currently shooting “The Best Time of Our Lives” with British actress Keira Knightley.

Al Gore has denied he is going to help Lindsay Lohan salvage her reputation.

The 20-year-old actress sent an email to friends and lawyers claiming the former US Vice President had offered to help her clean up her image, but he has been quick to disassociate himself from the claims. In a statement released yesterday (Dec 7, 2006), a representative for Gore said: “I can confirm for you that Mr. Gore has only met Ms. Lohan once, very briefly, at the GQ Men of the Year dinner last week. There were hundreds of other guests.” Lindsay had claimed in her email: “Al Gore will help me. He came up to me and said he would be very happy to have a conversation with me.”

She also wrote: “Hilary (sic) Clinton, Bill Clinton…. would be willing, if we just ask. If we just ASK.” But representatives for both Bill and Hilary have refused to comment on the subject. Lindsay wanted to call upon the politicians to help her, “release a politically/morally correct, fully adequite [sic] letter to the press,” as a vehicle for her opinions on, “how our society should be educated for the better of our country. Our people.” “Because I have such an impact on our younger generations, as well as generations older than me. Which we all know and can obviously see.”

The 20-year-old actress - who recently began attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings - has been mixing the potent painkiller with alcohol and cocaine, according to the National Enquirer magazine. A source told the publication: “I watched Lindsay Logan snort cocaine and pop Oxycontin then wash it all down with vodka!”

The insider, who claims to be a member of Lindsay’s entourage and a close friend, say they are exposing her behavior in order to help the young star. The source explained: “I’ve spent many drink and drug-fuelled nights with Lindsay. I’m only coming forward now because I want to save her life.”

Oxycontin, which is a legal painkiller, can have same effect as morphine or heroin but with less risk of fatality. The drug is very expensive because it is so strictly regulated. Lindsay - who has been spotted going into AA meetings and seen wearing a 90 days sober badge given out by the support group - recently rubbished speculation she had dabbled with drugs. She said: “I don’t do drugs. That’s something I would never do.”

She said: “I like someone, but I think he’s back with his ex-girlfriend. I’m very upset about it. It’s just so hard.” Lindsay likes any man who is considered off-limits. She told Elle magazine: “I recently liked someone and he went out of town, and something happened with his friend. I didn’t sleep with him, but something happened.” “It was a mistake, and now I’m in a fight with the first guy and we’re not speaking.”
