Justin, who recently separated from Drew Barrymore, has been seen holding hands with the ‘Spider-Man’ star.

A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Justin was holding Kirsten’s hand while walking around downtown NYC in the Soho area. They stayed out all night and Kirsten was all over him and kept leaning in to kiss him.”

However, a friend of Justin claims he and Kirsten have been close pals for years and she is helping him get over the break-up.
Although a friend of the 26-year-old actress says Kirsten has “always had a bit of a crush on Justin”.

Justin and Drew announced they had split up on July 8.
The couple - who had known each other for seven years before they co-starred in romantic comedy ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ - had been dating since August 2007.
Drew’s representative said: “I can confirm the split with no additional comment.”

Kirsten was recently romantically linked to actor Ryan Gosling.

The ‘Spider-Man’ star checked into Utah’s Cirque Lodge treatment facility - which previously helped Lindsay Lohan and Eva Mendes - in February amid rumours she was being treated for alcoholism and drug use, claims she has now refuted.

She said: “I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse, I went there for depression. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too.”

The 26-year-old actress also spoke candidly about her depression, insisting the condition is misunderstood.

She added to ‘E! News’: “There’s been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life. Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about.”

When news broke last week that Kirsten Dunst had checked into rehab, fans were surprised because she is a respected Hollywood vet, but those who knew her were familiar with her partying ways.

Some Dunst pals even suspect her 2005 split from three-year beau Jake Gyllenhaal led to her wild ways.

“Jake was turned off by all the partying,” a source tells Us Weekly in its latest issue. (Dunst’s rep says that is “downright wrong.”)

Ironically, multiple sources told Us that regret over the breakup led her to party more – and use cocaine and alcohol. (Counters her rep, “She is not being treated for cocaine or any drug.”)

“Whenever the cast and crew were out, she was the center of the group – doing shots and encouraging everyone to drink,” a source on her upcoming movie How to Lose Friends & Alienate People told Us. “There was no such thing as ‘just the one’ for her.”

Dunst will remain at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah “as long as she needs,” a pal told Us.

Actress Kirsten Dunst has checked herself into rehab, according to reports.

The ‘Spider-Man’ actress has joined Eva Mendes at the Cirque Lodge clinic in Utah, where Lindsay Lohan underwent a two-month treatment programme last year.

A Utah source told Star magazine that Dunst, who has played Spider-Man’s love interest Mary Jane Watson in all three movies, broke down in tears when she checked in.

The insider said: “She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic.

“She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears.
She is not in a good place right now, but, thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs.”

A spokeswoman for Dunst declined to comment last night.

A $13,000 handbag and other items were snatched from Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst’s penthouse suite at a posh Manhattan hotel earlier this month, according to US court records.

Thieves slipped into the actress’ rooms at the SoHo Grand Hotel on August 9, court records show.

Dunst, who was in New York to shoot scenes for the forthcoming film How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, had left early that morning, according to the records.

Darting into the suite through an open door, the thieves grabbed designer bags, $2,500 in cash, credit and ID cards, two digital cameras, a mobile phone and an iPod music player.

A surveillance camera captured the burglars leaving the hotel with the items, according to a court complaint. One suspect, Jarrod Beinerman, 33, was being held on $50,000 bond after being arraigned in a Manhattan court on burglary and grand larceny charges.

He was arrested after going to a Brooklyn court for an unrelated case on Tuesday.

Beinerman’s lawyer told a judge that the surveillance camera showed his client was not carrying anything in his hands when he left the SoHo Grand.

Authorities have since recovered credit cards, IDs and the mobile phone.
