The “7th Heaven” hottie will be starring in the musical under the direction of Pedro Almodovar, and is said to be getting a warm reception from the cast and producers.

Almodovar told press, “Everyone connected with the production [of the show] is excited about the choice [to cast Biel].

Venturing out on what was a beautiful spring day, Jessica Biel was spotted enjoying a lunch meet-up at Toast restaurant with some friends in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday (April 14).

Filling up with a hearty midday meal, the 28-year-old actress grabbed a seat at an outdoor table while chowing down a tasty cookie for dessert before heading off to her nearby car.

The sighting comes amidst continuing reports that Miss Biel is having relationship woes with Justin Timberlake – with Us magazine claiming that JT has been flirty on the set of his new flick with Cameron Diaz while also making fun of Jess behind her back.

Denying any such happenings, a Timberlake confidante told Gossip Cop of the rumors, “Jessica and Justin are very much together.”

“I really wanted to go to college, and it all kind of happened at the same time,” she says about posing for Gear magazine, which freed her from her “7th Heaven” contract after the show’s fourth season. “I did this photo shoot. The photo shoot came out. It was terribly embarrassing. I had to apologize to everybody, including my parents. It was a big learning experience — learning how to have boundaries and how to say no.”

In Jessica’s candid interview with Vogue contributing editor Jonathan Van Meter, she also explains why she won’t discuss her relationship with beau Justin Timberlake, saying, “It’s the most precious thing I have in my life, and I care about it so much that I don’t care about what anyone says or thinks. … It’s mine. And I really like that about it.”

For her photo shoot, Vogue photographer Mario Testino captures two sides of Jessica, going for a bombshell retro look in an Oscar de la Renta gown and as a natural beauty in Ralph Lauren Collection overalls. The second shoot found Jessica keeping company with some wily farm animals, including a runaway tortoise and a rooster that couldn’t quite “hold it” while sitting on her shoulder!

Jessica Biel marks her major musical-theater debut this weekend, as the Los Angeles Philharmonic presents a three-night run of a concert version of the classic “Guys and Dolls” at the Hollywood Bowl.

“I haven’t really done anything like this,” Biel said, following a dress rehearsal Friday afternoon. “Well, I did one thing in college. In college, I did a concert version of ‘Tommy’ when I was in college. But, other than that … .”

For “Guys and Dolls,” Biel takes on the role of saintly Sarah Brown, a Manhattan missionary at odds with a gang of gamblers — and eventually in love with one of them. It’s a far cry from one of Biel’s last roles: a stressed-out stripper in the steamy, straight-to-video “Powder Blue.”

“No, definitely not what you would think to go from ‘this’ into this,” Biel responded, with a smile. “But that’s the fun of this world. That’s what I love about this job. You get to do something like that and then you go completely extreme to the other side of it, and terrify yourself in some other way. It’s really about terrorizing myself.”

Perhaps Broadway?

“Oh, yeah. I would love to,” Biel replied. “Literally, that is one of my eight-year-old dreams. That’s like my little eight-year-old inside me is cartwheeling around, thinking about that idea.”

Jessica Biel spends five hours a day exercising.

The Hollywood actress – who is dating ‘SexyBack’ singer Justin Timberlake – works hard to maintain her svelte figure because she feels under pressure to look good for movie roles.

She said: “I’ve worked out five hours, sometimes more, in a single day, if I’m in training for a film role or something. And it’s hard – it’s very hard!”

Despite her gruelling exercise schedule, the 27-year-old beauty has to make sacrifices with food too and often only eats controlled meal portions.

She explained: “You have to find a balance, especially with what you eat. I don’t live by the idea that you can’t allow yourself a treat.

“I say, ‘Eat things you like, but eat them in smaller portions.’ I always cut things in half and send half back. I’m not perfect, I don’t always do those things, but that’s the goal.”

“Do I eat dessert? You know, if there’s something I want to try then I try it. But I have a bite, not the whole thing. That’s what you have to do.”

The 27-year-old beauty, who is being trained in the skill for new movie ‘ Powder Blue ’, could take up dancing as a career because it comes naturally to her, said the actress’ coach, renowned burlesque stripper Cati Jean.

“From our very first session she picked it up and in no time reached professional level,” the Daily Express quoted Biel, as saying.

Cati, who runs a French cabaret show in Hollywood, said she would love to include Biel in a future performance.

“She comes from a dance background, so that helped, but she was also very hard-working. She achieved such a high level I’d like to have her as a guest star in our show,” Jean said.

However, the actress said: “I had so much to do and so much to learn. I have a great respect for the women who do this for a living.”

Jessica Biel made her dog sick when she tried to cook for boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
The ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry’ star – who has been dating ‘SexyBack’ singer Justin since last January – reportedly attempted to make him a romantic meal, but Justin couldn’t stomach her food.

A source said: “Jessica made Justin this really disgusting meal. He didn’t like it, so when she went out to run some errands he tried to slip the remaining food to Jessica’s Pit Bull Terrier Tina. But as soon as Tina had eaten it, she threw up!

“When Jessica got back, she asked Justin what he thought of the food and he told her it was delicious. But he finally confessed and she found the congealed food in a pile by Tina’s water bowl.”

It was recently reported Justin is planning to propose to Jessica, and his grandmother Sadie is already planning the ceremony, insisting the pair should marry Jessica in Justin’s mother Lynne’s backyard.
