Heather Mills, who was just awarded almost $50 million by a UK judge in her divorce settlement from Paul McCartney, is now looking for even more, says a report in the Daily Mail. She had reportedly told pals that she’s getting forensic accountants to pore over Paul’s finances, to prove that he’s worth more than the court determined he was.

She’s also been claiming that she can’t support her 3-year-old daughter Beatrice on the nearly $70,000 that she was given just for her care.

A source close to the show tells PEOPLE that the former model might just show off her samba skills, following in the footsteps of Harry Hamlin and Emmitt Smith, when the fourth edition premieres March 19. 

“She has not signed yet,” an insider tells PEOPLE. “But talks are ongoing.”

Mills’s rep declined to comment. (Mills, who was struck by a police motorcycle in 1993, necessitating an amputation of her left leg below the knee, wears a prosthetic device.)

The former Beatle - worth an estimated $1,610 million - instructed lawyers to make the offer following days of “intense and heightened” talks.

This is said to be the first time Paul, eager to avoid a public court battle, has agreed to open negotiations. A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “This is the closest we have been to an arrangement. Paul is absolutely determined to keep his private life hidden from public scrutiny.

“The divorce has now been dragging on for nine months. There is war weariness creeping in.” “Lawyers have been in feverish discussions for the past ten days, but isn’t simply a matter of him making an offer and it being accepted.”

Paul, 64, reportedly sanctioned the offer after Heather’s sister Fiona accused him of putting his three-year-old daughter Beatrice at risk by refusing to pay for security for Heather. The source added: “They are almost there. The channels of communication have opened up.”

“It’s the first time a deal has been mentioned and both sides hope a settlement will be reached. Unless there is a major hiccup, they will not be going to court.” Terms will be drawn up by Anthony Julius and Fiona Shackleton - the same lawyers who dealt with Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s divorce - and they are hoping to settle the deal within a month. Julius - Heather’s lawyer - and Paul’s representative have so far declined to comment.

Last month, it was reported Heather and Paul - who were married for four years - had reached an out of court settlement worth $60 million. However, legal firm Mishcon de Reya, who represent Heather, quickly issued a statement denying Paul had made an offer.

Heather’s decision is likely to infuriate the 64-year-old Paul’s fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney, who has made no secret of her dislike for her stepmother. 
Heather is set to damage relations with her estranged stepdaughter further with her plans to launch her own range of beauty products, which will see her in direct competition with Stella’s own perfume line.
A source said: “Heather and Stella have always disliked each other and it’s her chance to get back at her stepdaughter.”

It has now been revealed that Heather- who is currently going through a bitter divorce from estranged husband Paul McCartney  - carries a spare leg at all times after her car was photographed with a prosthesis on the back seat. Heather was recently spotted exercising on a beach without her fake leg, which was placed on the sand next to her.

The 38-year-old blonde has always been happy to speak openly about her amputation, and once even let US talk show host Larry King touch it while being interviewed by him in 2002. She was once caught without a spare when she lost her false leg during an anti-fur protest at the fashion headquarters of Jennifer Lopez in 2005.

Heather was left limping in agony after her prosthesis came loose when she was ejected from the New York offices of Sweetface by security guards. The ardent animal rights campaigner had been attempting to show Lopez a video of raccoons being skinned alive in China.
