George Clooney Devastated By Leatherheads Flop….

George Clooney was hurt by the failure of his most recent movie Leatherheads - but is determined to learn from the experience.

A month after its release, the American football movie has grossed $36 million (Gbp18 million); $22 million (Gbp11 million) short of its $58 million (Gbp29 million) budget.

It only reached third place in the U.S. box office and disappointed critics - leaving director and star Clooney devastated.

He tells Rolling Stone, “It bombed and when I say bombed, it bombed. Someone said, ‘How does that feel?’ and it stings a little bit. It’s not like we just showed up: I was working on this for a couple years and put a lot of work into it, and you get knocked back a little bit.”.

But he refuses to be beaten, insisting, “The trick is how you handle things when things don’t go great. It’s easy when things are doing well: The people I most admire are the people who handle it when the studio says that’s really underperformed and they say, ‘Ow, that hurt.’ I’ve been a fan of watching people go through cycles, not just winning cycles.”.

George Clooney got into a fight with romance novel coverboy Fabio during dinner at Madeo in West Hollywood on November 2. Fabio and a group of women, including a professional photographer, were sitting at a table next to George and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson. According to numerous eyewitnesses, George suspected the woman was snapping photos of him and Sarah, so he asked her to stop. “I thought you were a nice guy,” Fabio said to George as he approached the table. “Stop being a diva.” Those were apparently fighting words, because George stood up and the fight turned physical!

George Clooney was involved in a motorcycle accident this afternoon, when his cycle was hit by a motorist. He was treated for a hairline rib fracture and road rash at Palisades Medical Center in Palisades, New Jersey.

Sarah Larson, who was riding on the motorcycle with Clooney, suffered a broken foot. Clooney and Larson were released shortly after being treated.

The former Fear Factor winner accompanied George Clooney to the Venice and Deauville film festivals, while wearing $3 million worth of loaner Bulgari diamonds. The 28-year-old cocktail waitress from Las Vegas’ Moon nightclub in the Palms Casino Resort hasn’t left George’s side since she flew to France with him for the Deauville Film Festival on September 1. Hard to tell if it’s serious, but George has already introduced her to good friend Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana!

Actor George Clooney has admitted that he has gone under the knife.

The 45-year-old, who holds the title of sexiest man alive, has revealed he has had plastic surgery around his eyes.

He owned up to actress Julia Roberts in a television interview.

Asked what had been the last biggest change in his life, he told her: “I had my eyes done. Can you tell? I think it’s important to look awake.”

Roberts, 39, was interviewing Clooney, her co-star in Ocean’s Eleven, at his LA home for Oprah Winfrey’s Oscars special.

The actress said that she had not had any surgery “yet”.

According to In Touch magazine, “George Clooney and Reese Witherspoon were spotted dining at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks on January 14. There is talk of a movie about George’s aunt Rosemary Clooney, and Reese has expressed interest in it” Also one of George’s friends thinks that he may be interested in Reese now that she is single!
