The FBI just released the grand jury indictment of a man who allegedly hacked into the email accounts of 50 victims, including dozens of celebrities.

The indictment was issued against 35-year-old Christopher Chaney of Jacksonville, Florida.  He was arrested this morning by FBI agents, on charges of identity theft, wiretapping and other charges.

According to federal officials, Chaney would use public information to access email accounts of his alleged victims, and then access computers and cell phones under the control of his victims.

Some of the alleged victims include Christina Aguilera, Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, and celebrity stylist Simone Harouche. Some of the ill-gotten materials included naked photos.

As TMZ first reported, law enforcement sources tell us Chaney allegedly acted alone, and got no money for his alleged misdeeds — rather, he did it for the thrill.

Chaney faces 121 years in federal prison if convicted on all counts.

Wow I dont think that was worth it!  Scary that he could do that though with such big celebrities. He better have a top criminal lawyer on his side.

Jackson died in June, 2009, and the estate bosses are still waiting for Lloyds to pay out on the $17.5 million (£11 million) insurance policy taken out on the pop superstar’s ill-fated This Is It concerts, which were scrapped following his passing.

The executors are now taking the insurers to court in a bid to end the stand-off, according to Tmz.com.

Lloyd’s of London originally issued the policy to cover potential losses for the This Is It London concerts, but the company bosses asked a judge in Los Angeles to declare the policy null and void, claiming Jackson lied about his medical history and drug addiction.

They insist the policy was restricted to “losses resulting from accident only”, stating the pop star’s official cause of death was homicide.

But now the estate executors have filed a cross-complaint, claiming the late star never intended to die, whether by homicide or not, so his death still qualifies as an accident.

They are now calling for the $17.5 million (£11 million) and punitive damages.

Recently, he defended tenure-seeking teachers to a conservative reporter, and he argued that wealthy people like himself should be paying more taxes.

“The wealthy are paying less than they paid at any time else, certainly in my lifetime, and probably in the last century,” he said. “I don’t know what we were paying in the roaring ’20s; it’s criminal that so little is asked of people who are getting so much. I don’t mind paying more.”

He’s also taken aim at one of his former pet causes — President Barack Obama. He used to support the President, but he’s had issues with Obama’s relationship with Wall Street and his stance on education.

“I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, ‘I no longer hope for audacity,’ ” he told Piers Morgan in March. “He’s doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education … the idea that we’re testing kids and we’re tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order. We’re training them, not teaching them.”

Whether you agree with him or not, Damon does have an eloquent way of speaking his mind. He’s also married with four kids (three biological), went to Harvard (didn’t graduate) and won an Oscar (for writing, not acting).

Josh Holly was not charged for hacking Cyrus’ accounts and publishing racy photos he found in them, but federal agents found evidence of other crimes when they interviewed Holly and searched his computer in 2008. Holly appeared in U.S. District Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to access device fraud for possessing about 200 credit card numbers that didn’t belong to him.

He also pleaded guilty to commercial electronic mail message fraud for hacking MySpace so that visitors to certain celebrities’ profiles would receive spam messages. Holly was paid more than $100,000 in commissions for steering traffic to a website selling cellphone ring tones, according to court testimony.

Also Monday, Holly answered for violating a condition that he stay away from the Internet while the federal case is pending. Using his cellphone, Holly sent a status update to Facebook that said he was feeling “strong urges” to start hacking again. Judge Aleta A. Trauger told Holly to stay way from the Internet altogether and said she believes he has an addiction.

Ronson was arrested for DUI during her drive from Vegas to L.A. on Monday, as reported by TMZ. Law enforcement sources reported that Ronson’s blood alcohol level totaled more than twice the legal limit.

Ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan, a regularly positive influence, and other sources close to Ronson have noticed a recent increase in the DJ’s partying and drinking.

Fortunately, the site doesn’t represent how most people probably feel, says Robert Thompson, a professor of popular culture at Syracuse University, because statistically speaking, the number of entries is insignificant when compared to gazillion people who use the web.

“It’s macabre and somewhat sick, I suppose,” Thompson said. “But we in an odd sort of way, we treat celebrities and talk about them in a way we would never talk about people that we know. They get categorized in this almost nonhuman sort of way, and we talk about them in mean-spirited ways, and we’ll take odds on their death…. All bets are off and all rules are moot.”

The Metropolitan Police released a statement, noting that London Ambulance Service notified police Saturday afternoon. It appears that resuscitation services were not performed, but that has not been confirmed. It’s unknown if her father, Mitchell Winehouse, has been notified of her passing.

But then suddenly she just passed out and stopped breathing,” he said. “It was the most frightening thing I had ever seen. I felt sure I was watching her die right in front of me. I didn’t know what to do or how to save her. I held her to me – and I thought she was dying in my arms. But somehow I managed to open her mouth and breathe air down her throat.”

Earlier this year, the singer cancelled the rest of her European tour around Serbia, in response to a very poor performance in Belgrade, where she stumbled through her set, missing key points and notes onstage. More recently, Winehouse had been seen with her 15-year-old goddaughter and soul-singer Dionne Bromfield, also signed to Winehouse’s Lioness Records label, at the iTunes festival at the Roundhouse in London. While she didnt perform, it was a rare sighting regardless, as she was there to watch over Bromfield as she supported the boy band The Wanted.

Winehouse made her debut album, Frank, in 2003. Her follow-up 2006 album, Back to Black, brought her six Grammy nominations; she took home five wins, becoming the first UK artist to win five Grammys. Since then, she had enjoyed a strong following and musical growth, appearing on songs with everyone from Mark Ronson to rapper Wale. Sadly, her off-stage struggle with drugs and alcohol, and a revolving door with rehab clinics, continued to compete with her musical headlines, and these issues will likely swirl rumors about her death until the official cause is reported to the public by police investigators.

Six months after Green Lantern’s Reynolds filed for divorce from his wife of two years, the couple’s marriage has dissolved.

The papers were filed by Reynolds’ attorney, Laura Wasser, Friday in Los Angeles, Us Weekly has confirmed.

Johansson, 26, began dating Reynolds, 34, in 2007; the stars announced their engagement in May 2008 and tied the knot that September in a remote wilderness retreat in Vancouver, B.C. They confirmed their split in December 2010, shortly after Us Weekly broke the news that the couple was going their separate ways.

Johansson (who recently split from Sean Penn) told Glamour in 2009 that she’s no expert on relationships. “I don’t profess to know anything about marriage that anybody else doesn’t know, or how to make it right,” she told the mag.

Reynolds, meanwhile, admitted things had “changed” since they got married. “I’m a little more guarded, I think,” he told GQ. “I’m a little bit more wary of having my relationship turning into a soap opera.”

Still, he gushed at the time that marriage was the “best part” of his life.

Anthony, 25, was found not guilty of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and aggravated manslaughter of child. She was, however, found guilty of lying to law enforcement on four counts and will face sentencing on Thursday morning.

Despite the jury’s decision absolving Casey from life-imprisonment or the death penalty, the majority of the public still holds the young mother responsible for the 2-year-old’s death.

Though an overwhelming number of people could not find justice in the verdict, Chris Brauns, pastor of the Red Brick Church in Illinois tweeted a link to his blog, advising how Christians ought to respond to the verdict, offering some basic principles.

“Trust God for Justice – Romans 12:19 explicitly tells us that vengeance belongs to God,” he first wrote. “No one is getting away with anything … God who sees all perfectly will deal justly in the timing that it pleases Him.”

Brauns also penned, “Be confident that God loves little girls infinitely and eternally more than any of us.”

Take no revenge, honor the court system, examine yourself, don’t trivialize forgiveness and misrepresent it by saying silly things like, “We all need to forgive Casey Anthony,” were also among his points.

“Situations like this are the opportunity for Christians to point to a balanced view of forgiveness that stresses love, justice, and grace. Casey Anthony is not the only one who will stand before her Creator. We are all sinners, and we will all be there. If we don’t know Christ, then the wrath of God abides on us.”
