Eminem’s mother claims he lied about his childhood to become a successful rapper.

Debbie Nelson says her son Marshall Mathers III invented his “trailer trash” upbringing to be accepted in the hip-hop industry.

In her tell-all book ‘My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem’, Nelson reveals: “After his first album ‘Infinite’ flopped, he reinvented himself as white trailer trash with a crazy welfare mom. I was shocked when I first heard the lyrics - but he constantly reassured me it was all a big joke. I went along with it for Marshall’s sake.”

Nelson insists she is now tired of being criticised for her supposed poor parenting skills, and has written the tome to “set the record straight”.

In the book - penned by British ghost writer Annette Witheridge - Nelson claims The ‘8 Mile’ star was so jealous of her boyfriend he wouldn’t let them sleep together on their wedding night and he physically attacked her on his 23rd birthday.

She also says Eminem is a manic depressive and was so “strung out” he can’t remember much of 1999 - the year he first married his childhood sweetheart Kim.

Eminem’s representative is yet to comment on Nelson’s claims.

Yea Im sure it was just him acting like trailer trash that made him successful, he’s a Grammy and Oscar winner because he’s talented. This gal has issues and is just trying to cash in. 

King of Pop Michael Jackson has brought the rights to part of rapper Eminem’s back catalogue.

The superstar, who also owns The Beatles copyright, has reportedly grabbed the rights to hits like ‘The Real Slim Shady’ and ‘Without Me’ which shot the controversial rapper to fame.

Jackson also snapped up the rights to songs by Shakira, Beck and Bjork when he purchased Famous Music LLC from American media giant Viacom for an undisclosed amount. 

Could this be a revenge plan by Michael Jackson to pay back Eminem for all of his negative references to him in his songs? Probably not, I don’t think Michael needs any more problems in his already complicated life.

 

Kim Mathers, 32, has opened up about her relationship with the hip-hop star - real name Marshall Mathers - claiming his constant drug-taking and infidelity almost drove her to suicide. Kim told US TV show ‘20/20′ said: “During his first tour in 1999 he was cheating on me a lot and drinking and using drugs.” “His ego just exploded. He was untouchable. It was like he was God, that’s what he thought.”

Kim also confessed she attempted suicide after Eminem, 34, sang about killing her in “Kim” and attacked a blow-up doll of her during a performance in their hometown of Detroit. She added: “He decided to do that song and not only perform the song, but use a blow-up doll to re-enact me being choked.” “I couldn’t take it. I went upstairs in my bathroom and slit my wrists and ended up in hospital.”

The couple first wed in 1999 but divorced two years later. They remarried in 2006, but divorced again just four months later. Kim is the mother of Eminem’s 11-year-old daughter Hailie.

Eminem’s second divorce from Kimberley Mathers has been finalized.

The rapper - real name Marshall Mathers - reached an out-of-court settlement with his ex-wife during a hearing at Detroit’s Macomb County Circuit Court yesterday (Dec 19, 2006). Chief Judge Antonio P. Viviano said: “They conducted themselves with dignity and respect.”

The couple will share custody of their daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, who will celebrate her eleventh birthday on Christmas Day. It is not known if Kim was granted the financial support and legal fees she’d been seeking from the hip-hop star. Eminem, 34, and Kim, 31, married on January 14 this year for the second time. The rap star filed for divorce less than three months later. They had previously been married from 1999 to 2001. As well as Hailie, the couple adopted Kim’s niece Alaina, 12, and she has another daughter, Whitney, from a previous relationship.
