Britney Spears’ paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has stunned his friends by insisting the singer is expecting his baby.
Pals of the British-born photographer claim he targetted Spears in a bid to make her pregnant, and is bragging that he has succeeded.
The claims appear in the current edition of US magazine Star, alongside pictures of Spears with what appears to be a bulging tummy.
A friend tells the magazine: “Britney is Adnan’s dream come true. He knows that if he has a child with her, he’d be made for life.
“Adnan is a social climber who uses women to get what he wants.”
Ghalib has previously revealed Spears really thought she was pregnant with his child when they were snapped buying pregnancy tests in January.
Brad and Angelina haven’t confronted any pregnancy rumors, but today at the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards, the two decided to use a more passive approach — just show the bump!
Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are celebrating the birth of twin babies in New York.
According to People magazine, the babies, a girl weighing 5lbs 7oz and a boy weighing 6lbs, were born early this morning.
Lopez’s manager Simon Fields confirmed the news to the magazine, saying: “Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon.”
The twins are the first children for the couple, who married in June 2004. Anthony already has three children.

Alba is so excited about the news, she has been letting all her friends know - and one source has blurted the baby exclusive out to US tabloid National Enquirer, along with the due date, June 8.
One friend tells the publication: “Knowing that she’s going to have twins has turned Jessica’s life upside down. She and (fiancé) Cash have had to scrap plans for a one-baby nursery and start all over again.”
Although the couple know they’re set to become parents to twins, they have no idea about the sex of their babies.
The source adds: “They’re not sure whether they want to know the sex of the babies now or wait to be surprised.”
Though Angelina Jolie has been keeping quiet about the news, her manager Geyer Kosinski was overheard talking abut her pregnancy at a party on January 25. Another close insider says that the actress is expecting twins with her longtime love Brad Pitt. “They run in the Pitt family - his sister, Julie, has twin girls,” the friend explains. The pregnancy news has made Angelina, who reportedly had been seeking fertility treatment, very happy. But that’s not all. The couple still plans to adopt an Ethiopian girl later this year. “They decided long before they learned Angelina is expecting,” the insider says. With a possibility of three babies in 2008, in addition to Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, their home will be noisier than ever.
It is reported that singer Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child.
The website People.com quoted Rossdale’s father Douglas as saying: “the whole family are delighted.”
He continued: “We are very much looking forward to another grandchild.”

Matthew McConaughey is expecting his first child with girlfriend Camila Alves.
The 38-year-old ‘Sahara’ actor announced the happy news on his website yesterday, saying he is “excited” about experiencing parenthood for the first time.
He wrote: “My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together. It’s three months growing in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far.
“We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life.”
Matthew - who recently wrapped ‘Fool’s Gold’, his second film alongside Kate Hudson - met 24-year-old Brazilian model Camila more than a year ago, and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
In the message, Matthew added: “Wish us the best, keep us in your prayers, and God bless evolution. Thanks for being fans of me and my work and now this new and miraculous chapter in my life, as me and Camila and our child do our best to just keep living.”
His representative Alan Nierob added: “Matthew is euphoric. He couldn’t be happier.”
Matthew recently gave an interview to America’s Playboy magazine in which he revealed he was looking forward to having children and couldn’t wait for “some little McConaugheys running around.”
