“The war is over,” Linda Bollea told The Tampa Tribune after a hearing in downtown Clearwater, Fla. In a sign of peace, she even kissed her ex on the cheek in the courtroom. “I still love him. He’s the father of my children,” Bollea added.

Hogan, echoing his wife’s surprisingly soft sentiment, told the paper, “When you’re married to someone for 23 years … you hope for the best …. We just got torn apart.”

In a statement released Tuesday, the wrestler’s rep said, “Hulk is looking forward to moving on with his life and is very hopeful that he and Linda can maintain a friendship and work together as parents to their two children.”

Bollea also issued a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying, “My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me.”

Bollea filed for divorce from her husband in November of 2007, just three months after the couple’s teenage son, Nick, was involved in a car crash that critically injured his best friend.

While terms of the divorce agreement were not made public, a source tells PEOPLE that Bollea now plans to move to Los Angeles, while Hogan will likely move back into the family home in Clearwater.

Reese Witherspoon was “humiliated” by her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.
The ‘Walk The Line’ actress has admitted she reached the lowest point of her life when she split from the ‘Breach’ actor in 2006 after seven years of marriage.
She said: “It was very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it’s not painful, maybe it wasn’t the decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions.”
The 32-year-old star – who is currently dating 29-year-old actor Jake Gyllenhaal – still feels confused by the end of her marriage which was finalised in 2007.
She explained: “When people get in your face and say, ‘This will pass,’ you think, ‘Are they crazy? ‘I’m never going to feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing’s ever going to make sense again.’ And I still have moments where I’m like, ‘Nothing’s ever going to make sense again.’ ”
Following the split, Reese – who has two children Ava, nine, and four-year-old Deacon with her ex-husband – did everything she could to stop the break-up turning nasty.
She told Elle magazine: “Blame, blame, blame. It’s a really easy thing to do, and I’m certainly guilty of it. You have to look at yourself and go, ‘What part of this do I need to own? Which part of this is my responsibility?’ And that’s the painful work that you have to go through to hopefully get some real life knowledge out of it.”

He admitted the marriage was “irretrievably broken,” but noted Florida is a no-fault state for divorce cases and chastised Cynthia for mentioning “immaterial and impertinent” issues like his alleged “extra marital affairs and other marital misconduct.”

“They deliberately engaged in a private negotiation,” Rodriguez’s lawyer tells the Daily News. “This was and remains a personal family matter for both of them.”

Morgan Freeman is getting a divorce.
The ‘Million Dollar Baby’ actor, who was involved in a serious car accident last weekend, is involved in divorce proceedings after splitting with his wife Myrna Colley-Lee last December.

Morgan’s business partner Bill Luckett said yesterday (06.08.08): “They are involved in a divorce action. For legal and practical purposes, they have been separated since December of 2007.”

Morgan and costumer Myrna, who have been married for 24 years, have two children together.
The 71-year-old Oscar winner also has two other children from previous relationships.
The couple met when Morgan was working in an off-Broadway theatre production in 1976 and they married in 1984.

Meanwhile, Morgan is said to be in a stable condition in a Memphis hospital following his car crash on Sunday (03.08.08). ‘The Dark Knight’ actor suffered a broken arm and elbow as well as severed nerves after his car overturned twice into a ditch in rural Mississippi.

Morgan’s passenger Demaris Meyer, 48, escaped with minor injuries, but the star was said to be in a critical condition when admitted to hospital.
Morgan is now said to be making a good recovery, after doctors operated to reattach his nerves. His agent has confirmed he is walking again and Bill Luckett added that he was “in good health”.

The former Sports Illustrated model took the stand in state Supreme Court, a day after testimony by her architect-husband, Peter Cook, and his former mistress.

Brian Platt, a police officer and the stepfather of the 18-year-old, informed Brinkley of the affair at a 2006 graduation at Southampton High School where the model was a speaker.

He tapped her on the shoulder, she tearfully recalled, and said, “That husband of yours won’t knock it off. He’s having an affair with my teenage daughter.”

Brinkley said she looked at Cook, sitting in the front row, and when he shook his head in denial, she thought: “My God, it’s true. He did do that.”

“That was also the day that my world was completely shattered,” said Brinkley.

Later, Brinkley’s mood brightened slightly when her cross examiner tried to portray her testimony as acting.

“If you want to call me an actress, that’s fine. I’m no Meryl Streep, but I have been in a very successful movie,” she said with a sheepish smile while referring to “National Lampoon’s Vacation.”

“Thirty years later it’s still got legs,” she said.

During his testimony Wednesday, Cook said he had given his mistress, Diana Bianchi, a $300,000 payoff, had trysts in his office and Brinkley’s Hamptons homes, and spent thousands of dollars on online porn.

Brinkley said she told Cook to give her his computer passwords “if you’ve got nothing to hide.” She found e-mails there from Bianchi and the porn sites Cook visited.

“I know a lot of men look” at pornographic sites, she said. But, in Cook’s case, she said he was trying “to connect with people” in their neighborhood.

“It was not a voyeur site. It was a meeting site,” she said. “It was more than I could bear.”

Cook had testified that he and Brinkley used pornography “to get the mood going.”

Before learning of the affair, Brinkley said the biggest problem she perceived in their marriage was Cook’s relationship with Alexa Ray Joel, her daughter with Billy Joel.

Brinkley said Cook constantly picked on her 22-year-old daughter for the slightest things. “It was truly the area that pained me in our marriage,” she said.

It distressed her, too, that Cook didn’t want Alexa Joel to play the piano, especially since “I feel as though she’s made my life a musical.”

After a day of gripping testimony from her ex-husband and his former teenaged lover, Christie Brinkley says she “heard a lot of new things I didn’t know” in the opening of the couple’s divorce trial Wednesday.

Looking upset as she gave a brief statement at Suffolk County Supreme Court in Central Islip, N.Y., the former supermodel added, “I need some time to let it all absorb.” Brinkley was accompanied by her lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, who described the trial’s opening as “a really tough day, as well as a long day.”

In court, Brinkley’s lawyers painted Cook, an architect, as a bad father who was fixated on Internet porn and whose affair with a then-18-year-old employee tore his marriage apart.

Cook’s attorney, Norman Sheresky, explained his client’s tears on the witness stand during brutal and at times humiliating questioning from attorneys: “All you’ve got to do is mention Peter’s children … He loves his kids. This is one of the best fathers you’ll ever meet.”

After Cook and his former mistress, Diana Bianchi, who is now 21, testified about intimate details of their affair, Brinkley’s daughter Alexa Ray (whose father is singer Billy Joel) took the stand and told of constant criticism from Cook.

Describing a 2003 incident in which Cook allegedly became enraged that her shower was causing a leak, Alexa Ray testified, “He was pushing me down the stairs … I went down in a towel … and the drips were already coming down into the bucket. He shoved my head into a bucket and said, ‘You clean this up.’”

During cross-examination, Alexa Ray described her mother as “very loving, but very idealistic about things.”

The divorce trial – in which Brinkley, 54, and Cook, 49, are battling over custody of their children Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10 – continues Thursday.
