Cameron Diaz would have found her ‘Bad Teacher’ sex scene awkward if it was with anyone other than Justin Timberlake.

The former couple – who dated for almost four years until December 2006 – star together in the comedy movie in which the actress’ character Elizabeth Halsey romantically pursues Justin’s alter-ego Scott Delacorte, and the blonde beauty admits she wouldn’t have been so comfortable with anyone else.

She said: “If it was anyone else it would have been awkward. It would have been a different scene. But instead we laughed a lot. And because it was him, it just wasn’t uncomfortable.

“We were able to do things I may not have been comfortable doing with somebody else. There is so much trust there, there is no issue.

“Justin and I know who we are and we know where we stand in our relationship. So there’s a comfort in that and a safety.”

Justin also recently insisted he didn’t find shooting intimate scenes with his ex-girlfriend uncomfortable.

Asked if it was awkward because of their relationship history, Justin said: “I didn’t look at it like that. We obviously know each other, but I looked at it as a really funny, funny scene that I’ve never seen done before.

“What I actually remember was, you know, they got to my close-up for that scene, so I was just kind of by myself – which is hard to imitate in real life.”

The magazine is reporting that the duo have been seen getting cozy together around New York City lately.

It was recently reported that Timberlake was dating Olivia Wilde but that turned out to be incorrect. Both Timberlake and Olsen are newly single.  He and his girlfriend of three years, Jessica Biel, recently split up.

The two have been spotted at the Greenwich Hotel, a “Saturday Night Live” after party, two Broadway shows and a polo match outside the city.

“They are hooking up,” an anonymous source told US Magazine. “They’re really trying to keep it on the down-low.”

The magazine also quotes an Olsen source saying that Ashley “is aware of Justin’s reputation with women, but … They’re in the same head space.”

In the past weeks, Timberlake has also been linked to Wilde, Cameron Diaz, who he already dated in the past, and Mila Kunis. Kunis and Timberlake star in the upcoming “Friends with Benefits” film.

A rep for Timberlake told the blog Gossip Cop, “they’ve been friends for a long time,” and that he and Olsen are not romantically involved.

Reportedly, the pop artist has landed himself a part in Cameron’s upcoming comedy “Bad Teacher” in which he’ll play a substitute teacher who is also Diaz’s character’s love interest.

Set to start shooting in Los Angeles later this month, the film costars “Saturday Night Live” alum Molly Shannon, Jason Segal, Lucy Punch and “Modern Family’s” Eric Stonestreet.

Timberlake and Diaz dated for four years and after their split Justin began dating actress Jessica Biel.

In a court declaration, Timberlake said that a woman named Karen McNeil had trespassed onto his property, hiked across it and entered his home without his permission.

“Ms. McNeil’s ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing,” Timberlake said in written the declaration. “I fear for my personal safety, and that of my family and friends.”

Timberlake has won several Grammy awards, most recently in 2007 for his song “What Goes Around … Comes Around.” His other hit songs include “SexyBack” and “Cry Me a River.”

The ‘SexyBack’ singer – who has been dogged by rumours he has dumped Jessica – travelled to Vancouver, Canada, to take the Hollywood beauty out on a date on Tuesday (20.10.09).

Justin and Jessica – who is in Canada shooting a movie adaptation of TV series ‘The A-Team’ – went to a late-night showing of ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ at the Dunbar Theatre and showed they are still in love as they sat at the back of the cinema hugging.

A source said: “They laughed a lot. Justin got comfortable, putting his feet up on the back of the seat in front of him, and his head on Jessica’s shoulder.

“They seem so happy to have worked things out.”

Justin’s mother Lynn Harless has voiced her support for 27-year-old Jessica, denying her son’s two-and-a-half-year romance is on the rocks.

Lynn said about Jessica: “Justin has found someone that’ll golf with him, give him a hard time when he deserves it and stand up to him.”

She added: “Jessica is awesome.”

Justin had three attempts to drop a hole-in-one on a 180-yard, par three hole at the Callaway Golf Center in Las Vegas, using the company’s new Diablo Forged Irons. He didn’t make the big shot, but his efforts generated a Callaway Golf donation of $5,000. Timberlake has been a Callaway Golf staff professional since 2008, and he has previously made a hole-in-one.

“It was 182 yards into the wind,” he tells ET’s Kevin Frazier, who is with him in Las Vegas. “I feel bad that everybody’s misinterpreting it. I got so excited by it, and then everybody else was like, ‘Really?!’ So I said, ‘It was a fluke.’”

The ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry’ star – who has been dating ‘SexyBack’ singer Justin since last January – reportedly attempted to make him a romantic meal, but Justin couldn’t stomach her food.

A source said: “Jessica made Justin this really disgusting meal. He didn’t like it, so when she went out to run some errands he tried to slip the remaining food to Jessica’s Pit Bull Terrier Tina. But as soon as Tina had eaten it, she threw up!

“When Jessica got back, she asked Justin what he thought of the food and he told her it was delicious. But he finally confessed and she found the congealed food in a pile by Tina’s water bowl.”

It was recently reported Justin is planning to propose to Jessica, and his grandmother Sadie is already planning the ceremony, insisting the pair should marry Jessica in Justin’s mother Lynne’s backyard.

“Good for Boston,” Will Smith graciously conceded to PEOPLE after the Celtics’ 97-91 win. He was followed to the exits by a grim-faced Jack Nicholson, a dejected Penny Marshall and disconsolate Justin Timberlake.

But the crowd – which included L.A. supporters Denzel Washington, Tobey McGuire, David Beckham, Nicky Hilton, Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Dustin Hoffman and Fergie – did contain a few Boston fans.

Boston boy Ben Affleck was in the house with wife Jennifer Garner. Fellow Bean Towner Donnie Wahlberg, who is touring with New Kids on the Block later this summer, also cheered on Paul Pierce and Co.

“It’s a good year for comebacks,” he told PEOPLE. “For the Celtics and the New Kids on the Block.”

Michelle Kwan was there to cheer on the Lakers – and to admire the players’ fit physiques. “They’re all good-looking,” said the L.A. native. “They have nice bodies …. And then you see that passion for the game.”

But her beloved Lakers are in a tight spot now, down 3-1 in the NBA championship series. (The Celtics need just one more win to clinch the title.)

“I think we’ll win it all in game six in Boston next week, and then we’ll celebrate the night,” Wahlberg predicted.

But would his brother Mark (who’s been – gasp! – rooting for the Lakers lately) join in the fun? “Right now, I think his blood is turning purple and gold a little but,” Donnie admitted, referring to the Lakers team colors. “We’re gonna have to fix that!”

Janet Jackson’s music mogul boyfriend has lashed out at Justin Timberlake in his new book, calling the pop superstar “ordinary looking” and a “skinny white kid”.

Producer Jermaine Dupri takes issue with Timberlake’s success in The Making Of A Mogul: Young, Rich and Dangerous, because he thinks the SexyBack star could be much bigger if he worked on his image.

He says, “I’m giving people my perspective as a music person, who creates artists from scratch.

“I have a new artist that’s coming out and he told me that he wanted to wear suits as his image… To me, that’s not gonna do anything, that’s not gonna set you aside from anything.

“I don’t believe that the image that he (Timberlake) gives me even makes me believe that he’s as big star as he could be… I believe that his music is incredible but he doesn’t have anything else to go along with the music”.

Dupri is upset that some media types are suggesting his attack on Timberlake is little more than payback after the Cry Me A River star publicly criticised his girlfriend after unwittingly finding himself in the middle of the controversy following her Breast-Baring ‘Wardrobe Malfunction’ during their 2004 SuperBowl duet.

This guy is full of shit! I mean he’s not even in the same universe as Justin Timberlake as far as anything goes, including style. How much bigger can Justin Timberlake be anyway.
